The problem with your solution is that I am 100% certain that Scoutmasters will now be told to be inclusive and tolerant and weloming and make sure the atmosphere in scouting is inclusive and tolerant and welcoming and any boys not being that will be accused of homophobia. Silence about fagdom is now considered homophobia. Boys will be FORCED to be inclusive - “John, why don’t you want to share your tent with gay Mikey? Are you homophobic? Maybe you’re afraid you’re gay? You realize there’s nothing wrong with that!”
The boys who are supposedly “gay” will no doubt at all make a BF deal out of it, and be pushed by their two daddies or two mommies to do so, and anything that doesn’t suit them will be Law Suit Time.
The BSA of are OVER. Finito. End of the line.
Oh, and here’s my prediction: next, they fags will want the inclusion of “transgendered” boys/girls/etc AND “gay” Scoutmasters.

Yes, I know, first hand, what the ECUSA has become.
EVERYTHING happening in America today is designed to destroy the country as we knew it.
That is why I do not expect to ever return.
Father was a Boy Scout and a scoutmaster. Me - Eagle Scout, assistant scoutmaster, council executive committee officer.
BSA membership (all programs) peaked in 1973 at 4,852,827. It's been downhill ever since. At the end of 2012 it was 2,658,794.
I will let the ashes settle before making any decision. I hope a new, conservative male youth organization will arise, but it will be difficult - just look at how dysfunctional most of the Christian denominations are regarding the issue of homosexuality.

Homosexuals are not gay, they are practicing deviant behavior that rarely turns out good for anyone involved. When anyone refers to homosexuals as gay, they are complicit, even if a tiny bit, in this leftwing conspiracy.
You can check out the Royal Rangers (www.royalrangers.com). They are affiliated primarily with the Assemblies of God, but there are outposts established at other churches as well. Boys don't have be church members to join, but they have a distinctly Christian focus.
I can’t believe it. This is a very sad day. The day Scouting died in America. My son’s Cub Scout pack that is sponsored by a PCA Presbyterian Church will be disbanding.

The same evil people who made sure they had this vote in the bag before they even brought it up for a vote -- do you think they would ever try it "in the dark"? -- will make sure the best people, the ones with straight backbones, are "weeded out" to "help the Scouts grow" in this "time of controversy" -- a "purge of the haters" if you will.
They've got it all laid out already -- including the vile names they'll call the people who founded and shepherded the BSA through what, 100 years? of morally and intellectually straight scouting.
See the problem is, the scouts just tweaked their own competition.

That is no longer the case. I bet within a month, there will either be a significant national breakaway - perhaps even tearing the organization in half.
If that has not happened, then a new organization will form to challenge them.
