Scores of supporters of the English Defence League threw bottles at police and chanted anti-Muslim slogans in Woolwich hours after the murder of one man and the shooting of his two suspected assailants.
About 100 men, including some wearing balaclavas printed with "EDL", engaged in running battles with police for less than an hour.
A police commander said officers cited section 60 of the Public Order Act, which allowed them to stop and search individuals within a specific area without evidence of a crime being committed.
EDL leader Tommy Robinson said: "They're chopping our soldiers' heads off. This is Islam. That's what we've seen today. They've cut off one of our army's heads off on the streets of London.

Nothing to do with the "moderate" muslims. Ha...Islam brainwashed those two butchers, the moderates tolerated their likely rantings in Mosques, meetings, etc. They did NOTHING! Moderates are as guilty as any of the terrorists because they do nothing proactive to prove their false religion is one of "peace."

I heard the moron on the radio this morning talking about the GOOD news in this story — that Al Quaida is obviously broken and on the run because of these “lone wolves”.
I'm guessing the muzzie headchoopers weren't all that familiar with Section 60 of the Public Order Act.
Why are they wasting their time fighting the police? Don't they know where the closest muslim neighborhood is, the nearest mosque or 'cultural' center?
Inevitable. A Muslim being beaten to death by his fellow passengers on a plane and an eventual mosque bombing are all but inevitable IMO.
No but was interesting the officers had no intimidation of going after English patriot but are a bunch of cowards to go after 2 crazy Muslim barbarians so they wait 20 minutes for an armed force of officers, sheesh.
And the left condemns the normal people while it says nothing about the headchoppers.
