Rand Paul: My colleagues just voted to arm the allies of Al-Queda

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) blasted members of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee Tuesday, which voted overwhelmingly to arm elements of the Syrian opposition in a bill co-sponsored by Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ) and Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN). "This is an important moment," Paul said, addressing his Senate colleagues. "You will be funding, today, the allies of al Qaeda. It's an irony you cannot overcome."

One of the only voices of reason amongst the corrupt oligarchs who represent us, Rand Paul.

So Rand Paul, rightfully, has the time and speaks forceably on this issue in a timely manner.

However, where is his statement of outrage concerning the traitorous Illegal Alien Amnesty Bill (Comprehensive Immigration Reform) that was just passed out of committee in the Senate?

Wish I could find that. Menendez was one of the supporters of that bill, you can count on that.

If you couldn't tell, that was a rhetorical question as Rand Paul is a strong supporter of "Comprehensive Immigration Reform" and has his own version of Amnesty he was pushing until he got a lot of heat about it.

He's been awfully quiet about it for some time now.

Wish he didn't support it.

Illegals are already getting preferential treatment in hiring by many employers.

Can rubio do any worse than he’s doing now? Amnesty now this. Maybe pull a McGreevey I guess.

His laudable performance here doesn’t make up for his sellout last month either. He’s a RINO through and through. This Dem inquisition means nothing. It’s a dog and pony show.

Him pulling a McGreevey would be largely preferable in my opinion to this Amnesty.

Not quite the whole of congress, of course. But the WH, certainly. and more congresscritters than not. And more government officials than not, the whole government is at least as riddled with muslims as Bill Clinton’s was riddled with Clinton lojalists.

I agree with you.

It would appear that Rand Paul, rather than stick to conservative principles, is taking a more Myth Romney approach of trying to please as many people as possible.

It's a shame, because the principled approach, whoever takes it, will guarantee a win in Presidential politics.

Anything else guarantees a Democrat win.

Rand is quiet because the leaders are taking heat! Yes, he supports it, but he is also observing the anger we have for Rubio and stays quiet hoping it will go away. It won’t.

I know people want to believe like Fox Mulder but it’s time to stop believing in fantasy and accept the hard reality about people like RP and the GOP. They are not our friends. They support Dem positions. That isn’t purist ranting, it’s a documented fact.

But they won’t. It’s easier to buy the fiction than fave the fact. So much for holding feet to the fire huh?

I cannot believe the criticism of Rand Paul here this a.m. Has FR been taken over like everything else? If you have documented fact, then state that. Rand Paul is a patriot and the kind of leader who will stand against the tide of communism. You may not agree with everything he believes but he is a smart and honest man and someone who is not corrupt and bought out. He will never betray his country. I guess I am close to being in the “giving up” column. You didn’t do this but many do..FR used to be a place where people would give at least a short explanation of their ideas about articles..Now, they text. This new world of sloth will come to nothing eventually. There are not enough old, wise people who understand and have the means to explain how unleashed human nature always ends in tyranny. I am sure no one will read my post here because I wrote more than 10 words.

Honest men and patriots do not invite illegal aliens into America or support those who do.

Unless you have a problem with that statement....

Ode to a RINO...

Tell me does the Stupid Burn?
I really want to know.
So many excuses that I hear,
Just bouncing to and fro

I hear it’s quite conservative
And rainbows lead the way
In front of tanks and planes and bombs,
To make our soldiers Gay

Likewise today around the right,
Lets make a choice severe,
Abort unwanted children,
Adopt them to a queer!

And what about the guns you own?
What did supporters say?
It truly must be Reaganesque,
To take them all away!

For shame the bitter clingers,
With Bibles by the bed.
Believe instead in Steve and Bob,
Whose right we’ll make to wed.

Such was the choice the GOP,
Bequeathed to us to vote.
Our patriotic duty,
Just hold your nose and choke.

Alas I am not stupid.
I do not feel the burn.
But come election season,
I fear they will not learn.

Another leftist RINO,
Or Democrat they’ll pass
Upon the the right wing public,

Well they can kiss my ass.
