Amazing that he is so on top of this. I thought his senior staff kept him unaware of things. I know we cannot afford to give this federal welfare to states but hopefully it won't end up being a lot of money. Hopefully Oklahoma will pay most of it on their own. I guess the debt money that was saved this year will no longer be the case. God Bless Oklahoma and hopefully people will not rebuild just like in New Jersey.

I’ve been to OKC quite a few times. Stayed in a hotel that got destroyed in 1999, in fact. Oklahomans will rebuild. Great state, great people.

Amazing that he is so on top of this.

No worries, he'll be walking through the rubble soon, hugging moms and holding babies and the ever compliant media will be on board calling him then "comforter in chief". This is the role the "news" media prefers to play with Obama. They really don't like being forced to ask uncomfortable questions regarding the myriad of issues plaguing their demigod they helped put in power.

This is about as much “breaking news” as that the sun is rising in the east.

White House said Obama’s homeland security team is keeping him updated on the situation.

*****

They keep him updated about a tornado but not about Benghazi. Now that the little dictator has become involved you can rest assured that they will get the same treatment Hurricane Sandy victims got. A photo-op and empty promises.

Never waste an opportunity. Funny how every time he looks like he’s down for the count some national emergency pops up for him to come to the rescue as a hero. Hurricane Ike right before the 2012 election to deflect from Benghazi and now the tornado in Oklahoma to deflect from the IRS scandal (and there are more). Its almost as if Satan himself is protecting him and I bet that’s exactly what it us.

It will not work... we know who and what you are obama... no winning favor for doing the easy part of your job... dancing, singing, staying drunk on the night of Benghazi... no mister resident... you get no such pass for humanitarian efforts using our money. Just help the people and keep your reggie love mouth shut!

We have extra money here in Texas - how about we throw in 500 million or so in to help OK. Wouldn’t it be great if we showed how states can help out each other, and that money does NOT have to come from DC?

Hey Sooners, tell your Gov to keep FEMA and DHS out. They will just gum up the works and collect info on your Citizens.

Trust none from the FERAL Government.

Two years ago a tornado ripped through my former hometown of Woodward, OK killing six people and wiping out dozens of homes and businesses. A year before that a wildfire ripped through east central Oklahoma burning over seventy homes to the ground. In both cases the Obama administration denied federal emergency aid. Was this because not one Oklahoma county voted for the clown in 2008?

Having learned a lesson from hurricane Sandy, Obama was on the phone almost immediately after the Moore tornado offering federal assistance. The tornado gives him a chance to escape his scandals for a few days. As Rush Limbaugh has often said, and we have all observed, everything is political with Obama and crew. I just hope Governor Falin does not kiss Obama’s ass the way Chrissie Christy did.
