Western civilization is dying worldwide, and the UK is ahead of the curve. Funny thing is if you ever get on any kind of public message-board with our British cousins & public issues or politics comes up the hate for the USA is astounding. Some of the most personal filth I’ve ever seen Americans accused of comes from the British. Not all of them of course....but enough to make your head spin.

I’m offended that the flag is too small. Make it as big as those shown on NFL pre-game anthems.

Why doesn’t England just surrender already? Their mere existence probably offends muslims.
Guarantee no town would ever ban, say, the rainbow flag because it might offend Christians.

You are correct on all counts - but although the UK may be ahead of the curve, unfortunately you have many traitors within the USA working to close that gap, and fast. The incumbent President comes to mind.
The reason many British have a distorted view of America is that they accept what they see in their mainstream media: on tv and in films, in the news and entertainment. (The BBC correspondant Andrew Marr once infamously boasted that he helped to create that distorted view.)

And Americans get an equally distorted view of the UK from their media, esp the conservative US media which peddles the ‘dhimmi state-Brits are gun free-Brits not allowed to defend yourself in Limeyville’ nonsense that I have to correct here daily.
And your average American gets far less news and stories from the UK than the other way, as frankly American media and entertainment is insular and parochial.
there is an old fashioned remedy for such types of so-called public officials that think they have the power to create edicts such as this : Tar & Feathering . It would only take a few and all others would cease such ridiculous conduct .

I understand. It’s a very sad situation all around. I have great respect for the British people & it’s disturbing to read or hear about these incidents. But I must say....you have not been insulted until a Brit gets going on you, lol.
