The IRS doesn’t like people like me. They’ve shown that’re haters. I don’t want them in charge of anything... but especially not healthcare.

Put the mob in charge.... I’d feel safer.

“If they did nothing you would hear people whining that they don’t care.”

This project is a big waste of tax pay dollars. Most of the folks working on the project are don’t have US citizenship (from India). Lots of re-work all the time. Of course the contractors working on it are in the liberal state of Maryland. Same people who go from contractor to contractor making the same mistakes.

It matters alot

It makes a big statement

It sets us up for 2014

It gathers momentum

Puts the public on more notice

Forces the Senate’s hand

Ok, I get it now! Hillary!

“and I guess there are Freepers who keep bitching about Republicans 24/7”

Because they will vote to fund it.

This vote to repeal is theater.

And it DIES in the Senate.

The House needs to CHOKE them by CUTTING OFF ALL FUNDING.

NO budget.

NO funds.

...but the House already said they’re not going to do that...

So what does any of this matter?

It’s not meaningless......it’s purely symbolic, and rightfully so.

In recent days there have been credible projections that Obamacare will cause medical premiums to rise 100% or more. In addition, we have the IRS scandal, the same IRS to which Obamacare will give additional enforcement powers over virtually everyone.

Even if I were a Dem who initially supported Obamacare, I would be VERY worried about both of these developments and therefore would not rule out repeal.

Yes rightfully so!

The Republicans, who only control 1/2 of one branch of government have and should be using their votes to protest this horrid legislation rammed through Congress by a super majority Democrat controlled Congress despite widespread popular opposition across the USA.

Sooner or later we’ll hear from Nancy Pelosi that Obamacare is all the Republicans fault! ( Pelosi will complain that the Republicans failed to attend the meetings she had excluded them from) We need to be able to point to numerous House votes repealing it, and put the Democrat Senate on record for not joining in the repeal.

As I said, this vote is not meaningless it’s Symbolic.....

BFD, what a bunch of Hooey...

Ya want to do something to catch my attention?

* Specifically defund the Death Panels.
* Defund the IRS by 50% and in that bill forbid them from being the Gate Keeper for Obamacare.
* In this bill take some of the 50% and hire the Rand Corp if it still exist to Re-Engineer the Fricken IRS
* Offer a one page piece of legislation that allows you a Flat Tax Option if you choose instead of the current system.

Now that would get my attention...
