May 9, 2013 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The jury in the Gosnell trial has today entered its eighth day of deliberations, and to all appearances is continuing to take a slow and methodical approach to considering each of the charges Gosnell faces.
Over the past eight days, the jury has sent out numerous requests for clarifications regarding the law and questions about the testimony that was given in court. Yesterday the jury requested a reading of testimony from Gosnell employee Lynda Williams, which took several hours.
This morning the jury has sent out another request to review the testimony of former Gosnell employee Adrienne Moton. That reading is also expected to take several hours.

In a sane world this man would be given the ultimate penalty allowed by law.
Pardon me but I fail to understand what the hell is taking this jury so long. Are these people idiots?? Are they trying to find some convoluted way to acquit this monster? Sure seems like it.
As far as I am concerned, it sounds like they are taking their time to get it right.
I hope you’re correct. I’m a pessimist, and knowing the jury consists only of pro-choicers, I fear they’re using their best relativistic mantel gymnastics to let the guy off. I pray I’m wrong. Otherwise, I fully expect God’s just hand to chastise this nation even more than He already has.
I get the horrifying feeling Gosnell is going to walk. He may be "convicted" of some token offense of neglect of duties or some sh*t like that, but I fear he's not going to pay any appreciable price for this.
Good God, did they have to translate everything into monosyllabic words or comic book form?
1. It is about a baby (alive) swimming in a toilet
2. They are asking for the testimony of someone who has already pleaded guilty.
3. The testimony by this former employee was very emotional when she gave it...
I would say that if I were Gosnell or his lawyer, I would be worried.
There is not one charge they are considering, but many charges against Gosnell. They have to take them one by one, case by case...
There are other defendants, I believe, and they’re probably taking them individually.
I smell another OJ travesty in the making.
The fact that they are taking so long is astounding to me. It is just another sign of the times. Our society is gasping for a moral breath and I am doubting the revival.
