Let Sanford decide his own morality
Bill Clinton has a 71% popularity rating. He is still married.

Yeah, it's all relative isn't it? //sarc

Go ahead and decide your own rationale for those deserving of your support, and I'll make my own decisions.

Any thoughts on those who lie on a continual basis, such as BJ Clinton?

Yep, you get what you deserve, chump...

Oh bite me you sanctimonious clown. You voted for an adulterous, thieving liar. And you’re proud of it.

You would think that smart folks would listen to those of us that live here and get a clue. I think some folks just have a true hatred for the south. They sure do seem awfully angry that Colbert lost.

Morality, sure, and I’m sure you’re pure as the driven snow. As for his wife, well I think he has a better fiancé and the bottom line is that politically we just kept a conservative seat in the House.

I prefer a fallen Sanford to a rising Colbert but I think the wrong Sanford ran.

Fred? Terry? They gone now.

Oh. You mean Mark's ex-wife, don't you now? Okay then.

When exactly did Jesus say it was ok to elect that adulteress to the Roman Senate? You must have a different Bible than I do because is my copy Jesus never said anything of the kind.

He sure as Hell didn’t tell me to vote for her. That’s on you, fool.

Obama happily bends over for Reggie Bush and sells out the constitution all the time.

Call me old fashioned, but there is a vow to marriage. There is an oath to the constitution. I live my life by a simple creed, God, Family, then country. Sanford committed adultery, that goes against God and Family. How can anyone expect him to keep an oath to his country?

Yes, there is a slight chance that I beared false witness to Obama. I will ask God for forgiveness.

I am hard on preachers and politicians because they are supposed to be our leaders. We lack a lot of leaders these days.

It’s not about me, pal, or you. It’s about our representatives in elected leadership.
So you prefer some jerk who lies and cheats on those who are closest to him? really?

Honestly, I've lost track of what it is you're meaning to say. I don't know how Reggie Bush fits into your narrative at all. I must get sleep soon. Thanks for your responses.

I’m here in the midlands so we get all the news surrounding the leadership. I’m just glad Andre is not in office anymore but hearing he hasn’t lost his desire to be governor is disheartening.

I don't need your approval to make my own decisions. I didn't vote for Clinton and despise him--mainly due to his politics.

The people of SC in that Congressional district had two choices: Sanford or Colbert. If I were in that district, the choice would have been easy--Sanford--mainly due to his politics. What would you do, chump?

No, I want Graham defeated in the primary. There has to be a consequence for this amnesty supporter and McCain sycophant. You have a problem with reading comprehension.

I made the same prediction a half dozen times. No way a republican was going to lose to a democrat in that race, not in SC. No way.

Agree — he may have messed up badly but he was a well liked Governor and has NEVER lost an election.

It’s not that. It’s probably that some people, like me, are perhaps viewing it through a more a multi-varied prism. On one hand it’s great that Sanford won. ... Yet on the other hand ...”

BINGO

Perfect post of my thoughts. I have no reason to believe that Sanford will not represent my conservative point of view adequately, and better than my own Representative. However, there is certainly the knowledge that his judgement in the past, to say the least, has demonstrated some major flaws (as has my own).

God be with him. And, please, God bless our Republic.
