The Pentagon has released a statement confirming that soldiers could be prosecuted for promoting their faith: "Religious proselytization is not permitted within the Department of Defense...Court martials and non-judicial punishments are decided on a case-by-case basis...”.
The statement, released to Fox News, follows a Breitbart News report on Obama administration Pentagon appointees meeting with anti-Christian extremist Mikey Weinstein to develop court-martial procedures to punish Christians in the military who express or share their faith.

Being convicted in a court martial means that a soldier has committed a crime under federal military law. Punishment for a court martial can include imprisonment and being dishonorably discharged from the military.

Why should be serve a Govt which does not care about him, why should he serve a country which can say thank you but they do not deal with losing an arm, why should be serve under Obama and then be told what to do by political officers
Why should he be forced to share showers and rom with cross dressing homosexuals?
Oh and I know many who are leaving for the same reason, one soldier just got back from his tour and he;s now leaving after seeing his officer dressed as a woman .
So before you judge as it seems to be a few on here I suggest you know who are talking to and what they have done for their country and what goes on in their family

That’s not about prostletyzing, that’s about abuse of resources and operating outside one’s delegated authority. There’s plenty of ways to deal with that without making it about religion in particular.

Guy round the corner joined his part time national guard and for what, love of country, hell no , he joined for the freebies and so do many others.
Now he;s wearing that uniform going to Chic-fil-a being told thank you and the only place he;s been is FT benning for his weekend playing soldiers and not even combat but more like a bedding storeman or cook or driver

There's so much "chicken or the egg" in this statement, it's impossible to unravel it, so I'll just let it speak for itself.
I know you won't believe this, but I'll say it anyway: the military's culture hasn't changed a lot over the years, and what has changed is mostly for the better. Now that the war is winding down, it's inevitably going to get dumber, but that's just how it goes. It's not unique to this timeframe.
I joined the National Guard out of high school to pay for college. I'm now a combat veteran who's about to pin on Major in a couple of months.
According to your statement, I should never have joined since I wasn't doing it for the appropriate reasons. Get over yourself.

He made it about his religion, though. The hell of it is, he never even got in trouble for it, b/c nobody complained about it to higher.

Mr. hummingbird and I have a print of that in our dining room...it is beautiful and when we break bread with family and friends in the dining room, people invariably ask about it.

It has changed, even the soldier who just got back home saw his officer in a woman s dress in the PX and like he said that was his final straw.
Getting in is easy today and BTW I still have pals serving , some getting out and they too say it’s changed even in special forces.
Too many join for the freebies and not for love of country, the while system is screwed up, training is now run in sneakers for the test.
If you don’t think PC has infested the military then so be it but I assert it has and so do many I know who are leaving, soon or have left.
Go to war, but not some because some don’t want to fight other muslims, or are against war or don’t agree with the war, ten there is the Chaplain crap now, the anti Christian crap, the likes of Manning, homosexuals, cross dressing
