Waltham police have stepped up their investigation of a 2011 triple homicide where a friend of suspected Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev was brutally murdered, according to a relative of one of the victims who was interviewed by the Globe.
The relative said Sunday that police have renewed the investigation at the request of victims’ relatives who believe Tamerlan, and perhaps his younger brother, Dzhokhar, played a role in the homicides. Authorities have said the victims all had their throats slit.

Yes, although I think he was only arrested, not charged and convicted. He was let off easily, but did not have a felony conviction, so far as I have seen.....

Brother was made a citizen on 9/11/12...not 2011. Murders occurred on 9/12/11. Not sure about the exact dates he was out of country yet.

It’s possible Tamerlan killed them because they were a bad influence on his brother and, more importantly, the best freind was competition to Tamerlan’s influence on his brother. Besides, slicing throats is the Chechens preferred means of killing.
They just said on Fox that last September 11th (2012) Tamerlan had a party. Celebrating with accomplices on the one year anniversary of the murder?

no, the bodies were found on 9/12/11, but according to a family member of one of the victims it is believed (with good reason) that the murders were likely committed just after 8 pm on 9/11/11....

can a “naturalized” citizenship be revoked for fraud and treason??
IF Dzhokhar was already part of any terror cell or plot before 9/11/12 it certainly ‘ought’ to be possible to revoke his citizenship, not that he would care now.... except that it should not be a bar to treating him as an “enemy combatant”.
The issue with EC vs. putting him through the civilian courts is whether we regard him as a possible source of intel on any terror organization or training. If he’s allowed to go the civilian route he automatically clams up behind lawyers.
ofc, we have such a wuss administration that they would not allow him to receive a proper “enhanced” interrogation at Gitmo.... but we should be treating him as a possible intel source, and not merely as an object of criminal law.

That was in 2011. the unknown state was Russia. So, if Russia suspected he was trying to join an underground group, and believed he would be leaving the US to pursue that interest, why did Russia allow him into the country in 2012? Were the Russians as unaware as the FBI of his presence in their country because his name was misspelled? Did he even make it to Russia, and did he go anywhere else while he was overseas? The FBI/CIA need to actively pursue this.
That they might have been murdered on 9/11/11 and the bodies were only found on 9/12/11 is entirely possible. My correction to your post was that the younger bomber was made a citizen on 9/11/12 from what I have read...a year after the murders.
It is obvious though that they had a fixation on that date. Very telling for sure.

ok but I was not the one who said 9/11/11 for the citizenship, I knew that was 9/11/12.
btw, although many are associating that with the younger brother’s choice of date (for becoming a US citizen), I strongly doubt that people about to become naturalized citizens get to choose the specific date of their ceremony. Much more likely they are assigned an upcoming ceremony weeks or months in advance, and that a lot of new citizens are being naturalized each 9/11 because of the meaning of that date for all of us since 2001.
