RNC official compares homosexuality to alcoholism, says it leads to drugs
The Washington Post ^ | April 11, 2013 | Aaron Blake

Michigan Republican National Committeeman Dave Agema, who caused a stir last month when he posted an article to his Facebook page that labeled the homosexual lifestyle as “filthy,” is now comparing homosexuality to alcoholism and says it leads to drug abuse.

Yeah, and so what? Yet this is “newsworthy” to the Wash Compost? Hey, Compost, what about AIDS, have you forgotten how that got here and how it spread?

Oh yeah, that’s right, it was Reagans’ fault.

Well, homosexuality is indeed “filthy.” Especially two dudes playing in their own poop. And effectively destroying their anal/colon regions within a few short years, making them incapable of holding in their own waste. Somehow I don’t think this aspect gets brought up on “Glee” episodes.

What makes it newsworthy is the fact that we managed to sneak a conservative into the heart of the GOPe fortress.

A couple of past Dave Agema stories.

You speak the truth! It is not a popular truth but someone needs to call it what it really is. Back in the day it was called queer, IMO, I believe that describes it a lot better than gay.

sounds like he is confused, or else what he said was taken out of context.

Three things are being mixed up here:

First, same sex attraction. Whether or not you are born that way or developed it from early life experiences, most gays would prefer to be straight.

Two: Ordinary gays do not live the “gay lifestyle”, although some may visit “gay bars” on and off to socialize.

Three, the “Gay lifestyle” or hardcore lifestyle is associated with promiscuity, HIV, drug use, and suicide. On the other hand, a similar problem can be found in the heterosexuals who do this.

When 50 percent of college students “hook up”, can we condemn gays who do the same thing

Actually, ordinary homosexuals ARE promiscuous:

“Research indicates that the average male homosexual has hundreds of sex partners in his lifetime:

The Dutch study of partnered homosexuals, which was published in the journal AIDS, found that men with a steady partner had an average of eight sexual partners per year.[12]

Bell and Weinberg, in their classic study of male and female homosexuality, found that 43 percent of white male homosexuals had sex with 500 or more partners, with 28 percent having one thousand or more sex partners.[13]

In their study of the sexual profiles of 2,583 older homosexuals published in the Journal of Sex Research, Paul Van de Ven et al. found that “the modal range for number of sexual partners ever [of homosexuals] was 101-500.” In addition, 10.2 percent to 15.7 percent had between 501 and 1,000 partners. A further 10.2 percent to 15.7 percent reported having had more than one thousand lifetime sexual partners.[14]

A survey conducted by the homosexual magazine Genre found that 24 percent of the respondents said they had had more than one hundred sexual partners in their lifetime. The magazine noted that several respondents suggested including a category of those who had more than one thousand sexual partners.[15]”

One of my lifelong friends is gay and he will confirm that most gays live chaotic lives of drugs and promiscuity. He also says that most are pedophiles.

He and his partner are pariahs among the gay community because they don’t toe the line. They just want to be left alone and say that gay marriage is inviting government into their bedroom.

Why is this controversial? Both homosexuality and drug abuse in some situations might be called “not a choice” i.e crack babies. Both lead to an early grave. Both are practiced rampantly in Hollywood.

Homosexuality and alcoholism are both choices. That is the only commonality.

Alcoholism is a habit forming vice; homosexuality is a choice of which way to swing. Like comparing apples and oranges. Makes no sense comparing them.

Vermont’s child protective agency, without evidence of any sort, adopted a new policy 15 years ago that discarded tradition. Why? Because traditional common sense relegated homosexuals as ‘not suitable for foster-placement’ status. The child protective agency thought it had a ‘better way.’

The one FACT that is always missing from the conversation regarding homosexuality and homo-marriage is what is means to be a homosexual. Since the homosexuals want all their dirty laundry aired, why don’t we have a public conversation about what two “dudes” and two “dikes” do to each other that render them known as homos?

I have an acquaintance, a homosexual, who claims — in complete honesty, I believe — that he has had sex with at least 400 men in his life. He told me that with many of these men he hardly even exchanged a single word. He is neither handsome or wealthy.

Gay men are telling you they’d rather be straight?! The last time I heard that was from the British raconteur, Quentin Crisp, circa 1977.

Even if gay men privately thought so, the gay left-wing is so scary they’d never say it up front.

It so happens that there is a greater prevalence of recreational drug usage (and alcoholism) among male homosexuals as compared to male heterosexuals. So this Dave Agema isn't so far off base. Rather, it's the WaPo that is off base for even writing an article ridiculing him. He's pretty far down the totem pole in GOP politics, anyway, so why bother? It's obvious that some gay activist bunch is trying to use this quote from someone few people have heard of to smear the whole GOP.

Actually it started with a “moderate” republican blogger named Dennis Lennox who felt that it wasn’t getting the attention it needed so he admits that he took it to liberal friends in the media.

I wouldn’t say Dave Agema is exactly down the totem pole. After all he’s a committeeman on the RNC which is where GOP policy and rules are made.

Dave Agema was elected by a coalition of tea partiers and GOP conservatives who agreed that it was time for progressive Saul Anuzis to go. Anuzis got himself in trouble with the RNC a while back for using official RNC letterheads to promote the national popular vote.

Basically if the liberals aren’t behind an attack on Michigan conservatives, the Anuzis camp is.

The bigger problem seems to me to be that these yobs are incapable of a cogent or coherent thought. They are lost in the weeds of crap that may or may not be urgent at some point in time. Currently we are DROWNING in debt and deficit. The GOP in DC is ineffective and useless. Conservatives have NO standard bearer anywhere that can pick four key points to hammer over and over so that we can win again (or perhaps there aren’t any principled politicians out there any more).

This prattler is just another case in point of not being clear on the concept.

Poppers are an inhalant drug. Small vials of potent liquid you breathe the fumes from. Alkyl nitrites is the scientific name. They’re used in cleaning products and polish removers, and I think some people have died drinking them accidentally.

Popular during the 70s & 80s on the club scene, they were initially linked to AIDS, although that was disproved later.

How so? The scientists of this western world have LABORED to find the "gay" gene. Doesn't exist. THAT research proves that homo/bisexuality is a CHOICE. That would be embarrassing, I think, to those folks who believe that homo/bisexuals are made like that because of genetics. NOPE. It's a choice.

They also have a higher rate of suicide and drug use, but one wonders if that is biased because drug use and suicide is very high among youth who were abused...

A recent CDC survey revealed 20 percent of “gay” teenagers were sexually abused before age 13.

That number doesn't mean much without the percentage of heterosexual(or non-"gay") teenagers who were sexually abused before age 13. Furthermore, it would be appropriate to break those numbers down into male and female, because male homosexuality and female homosexuality have significant differences in their pathogenesis and prevalence. (Yes, I used the word "pathogenesis," the heck with the code of political correctness.) But I wouldn't be surprised if the CDC (which is a federal government agency, after all) would refuse to release statistics that could be considered detrimental to the causes of gay activists.
