Poor Piers Morgan, not only do people want him deported, but now they have decided to just stop tuning into his show. Piers Morgan has been on the forefront of the second amendment debate. He yelled personal attacks at Ben Shapiro when he couldn’t defend himself any longer from the intellectual debate he was facing. But it seems like karma has come to get him.
The February 28th episode of Piers Morgan Tonight, which featured an exclusive interview with Gus Searcy, the mentor of Jodi Arias suffered a yearly low in the key 25-54 demographic with only 87,000 viewers. The show is down 27% in total viewers and 38% in the demo from its debut in Jan. 17th, 2011.
Piers Morgan Tonight also had the lowest demo in its time slot and was even beat by HLN’s Dr. Drew (with 208,000).
With these ratings we can only hope to see a cancellation. The “news” he provides is nothing but liberal drivel. CNN has been rethinking a lot of their programming and perhaps it is about time to think about Mr. Morgan’s show.
I say leave him on in prime time. That then is a drag on CNN and they fully deserve it.

The key demographic Morgan needs to lose in is "human beings".
I never watch him. I have about 150 channels on my satellite connection and can always find something more interesting, even if it is one of the auction channels or the weather channel.
Maybe it was on in 87,000 hotel rooms, hospital lobbies and airport TV screens??

A show watching the grass grow can probably do better...
I wonder at what benchmark if there is one where an advertiser doesn’t have to pay for airtime...since this is a nationwide cable program....

Almost half of those must be folks who forgot to turn the TV off when they left the house.
The other half must be the cat or dog got hold of the remote when nobody was in the room............Just speculating.
