The Boy Scouts of America is considering dropping a longtime ban on gay members, according to a spokesman.
“The BSA is discussing potentially removing the national membership restriction regarding sexual orientation,'' spokesman Deron Smith said in a statement obtained by FoxNews.com. "This would mean there would no longer be any national policy regarding sexual orientation, but that the chartered organizations that oversee and deliver Scouting would accept membership and select leaders consistent with their organization’s mission, principles or religious beliefs."
Sodomites have infested every walk of life. Think of the movie “Invasion of the Body Snatchers”. The BSA is one of the last remaining organizations that have not officially caved into these child sex predators. They lied before and got in the Scouts, the say way sodomites lied to the Catholic Church and said they had “no strong homosexual urges” and would live a celibate life. 99% of sex abuse cases in the Catholic Church are from queers. They absolutely can not control their sexual urges, and the vast majority of them love teenage boys. The Church should kick everyone of them out save themselves millions of dollars in lawsuits. The same thing goes for the BSA. When you find out a perfert has infiltrated the scouts, first beat the living hell out of him, and tell him if he ever lays hands on a young man again he would be beat to death and his filthy hide fed to the hogs. You either fight fire with fire, or these degenerate bastards will destroy your sons and daughters for life. Sodomites are the scum of the earth, and will burn in the pits of hell when their days on this earth are done.
My son has his two sons in the BSA as of last Fall. I’ll pass this information along to him. Unfortunately, his LIBERAL wife will probably not find any problem with this. Grrrrrr.
There will have to be some new merit badges.
I remember a psychologist who said it was reinforcement from mothers who really wanted daughters. They reinforced behavior which was female in their unwanted sons.

When the BSA decides to join the politically correct, elite political class and welcome perverts into the ranks then they’ll be no better than the evil phony president and his joint chiefs of staff who want to legitimize buggery.
I sent this to the BSA today:
As a former Cubmaster and Scouting parent, I read with great dismay the letter on your website regarding the proposed change in the policy regarding sexual orientation. This proposed policy claims that Scouting has always been concerned about doing what is best for the young people that you serve. Add my voice to the list of those who will surely tell you in the coming days that a change in this policy will NOT serve those children well.
Your proposal states that “there would no longer be any national policy regarding sexual orientation.” This is false. Currently, the national policy disallows homosexual leaders and members. If you remove the policy, you are in force and effect ALLOWING homosexual leaders and members to participate, so whether the policy is written or not, Scouting will have implemented a policy that reverses course and allows what was previously disallowed.
The culture we live in is groaning with changes, and most of them are not good changes. Our kids are exposed to more sex and violence and swearing and examples of public figures who engage in dishonesty and corruption than at any time in our history, and with the ubiquity of cable television and 24 hour news and entertainment channels, the exposure is constant and nearly inescapable. As Scouting parents, we tell our children that “right” and “wrong” aren’t just words, but concepts that have meaning, and that they have to stand against the tide of change in the world. For over a hundred years, Scouting has been a constant that we could point to. When news of the so-called “controversial” policy would come on television, it always offered an opportunity for parents to answer questions that would be asked, or to ask some questions of our own and offer explanations about why Scouting’s stand in this area is important. For many kids who have non-religious parents, the stand by the Boy Scouts was the ONLY opportunity they might ever have to hear that there were reasons why allowing homosexuals in Scouting was not a good idea. By changing policy, you will be removing that potential for our kids to learn a positive message, and you will, instead, be telling them that in the face of withering criticism from politicians and the pop culture, EVEN SCOUTING will bend with the wind and do what’s popular instead of what’s right. You will, in effect, be endorsing homosexuality as an organization.
Your proposal also states that “BSA members and parents would be able to choose a local unit that best meets the needs of their families.” Will there be an official list available detailing which local organizations allow gay members and leaders? If not, then you’ll be doing a disservice to those who want to continue in Scouting without those influences, and what happens the first time that a local organization that doesn’t want to allow homosexuals is challenged by a family that wants in anyway? If you do provide such a list, however, then you will in fact be endorsing “homosexual-friendly” units, which would clearly mean that Scouting will have become a “homosexual friendly” organization. Again, you can’t claim to not have a national policy, when the lack of a national policy that once existed leads to proliferation and official sanctioning of something that the policy previously banned.
Change this policy at your peril. Doing so will be the first horn on the march towards the death of Scouting as we know it.

I wonder if they are going to create segregated troops. Like someone jokingly put, flamingo scouts vs eagle scouts.
I suspect the liability issue is in question here. Remember there is a lawyer suing the scouts over some sort of molestation by undetected homosexuals who were booted out after discovery.
I would like to predict that if this happens, BSA will soon be a queers only org.
No sane person would willingly send their child camping with a queer.

In 1972, there was a gay scoutmaster in my home town who molested a kid. I had heard about it and reported it to my Mom. She was in shock and had me repeat this.
She told my Dad and within 2 days, State troopers were at my house asking me to repeat this, along with the kids father.
The young boy was spared a trial, facing the scoutmaster, and the scoutmaster was forced to resign or face charges.
Is this is true, that the Boy Scouts are going to let homosexual men or boys in troops, then every American must leave the Boy Scouts immediately, for more molestations will occur.

I realize that most of the men aren’t homos (right now). But most are being made to coddle them. They get in power, they start using sexual politics for recruiting, advancement, and pretty soon a straight man is really not welcome there.

There is an alternative - Boys’ Brigade. My sons (all former scouts, one eagle) - are too old for it now. But any grandsons etc. I’ll recommend to that, not BSA.

If they do that, they will no longer receive many boys under their tutelage. Why send your son to get ‘scouted’?
But maybe that’s the point. Scouting will be replaced with Strength Through Joy and Obama Youth, a government-approved youth group.
