As Barack Obama Begins His Second Term, What Best Describes Your Emotions?
1. Joyous Anticipation
Had to change my hot water tank today. Dreaded doing that LESS than putting up with O’Bumbler another four years. Any other questions.
How about “It’s the end of America.”
“Dread” is putting it lightly.
Desolation. America was the last, best hope.
“Poor naked wretches, wheresoe’er you are,
That bide the pelting of this pitiless storm,
How shall your houseless heads and unfed sides,
Your looped and windowed raggedness, defend you
From seasons such as these?” ~ King Lear, 3.4.28
I have a sense of impending doom about it. I am surprised daily when he’s still standing around filling his lungs. I really pray for his safety.
Other than that - indifference
My neighbors and I all went outside and fired our AK-47s in the air to celebrate this great day./Sarcasm
I’m not giving the scumbags the satisfaction of dread.
Is there an entry for “vomiting on the carpeting??
Disgust and revulsion.
Much the same as my priest’s emotions seemed to be yesterday when he spent almost the entire homily talking about the horrors of Roe vs. Wade, and this administrations’ desire to celebrate the anniversary.
I never wanted to live in a European Social Democratic Welfare State.
But regardless what I think, it appears as if that is where I will spend the rest of my life.
Darn. Missed it.
To paraphrase a famous personage, "For the first time in my adult life, I am not proud of my country."
Any FReepers out there know anything about living in Ecuador?
Wusses. All Obama’s mideast friends fired mortars in the air.
Repulsed that he re=elected himself and his propaganda outlet hid the fact that he did.
The founders were right, and not a single shot was fired.

They left off “revulsion”, “disgust”, “anxiety”, “disdain”, “cynicism”, “fear”, “determination that no Democrat should be elected to anything, ever again”, and “all of the above”.
That’s the problem with voter fraud and stealing an election..........Nobody shows up but rented cops, security, and the media for the free food.
Ho hum. He is a pustule, not the smallpox. Our problems are systemic.
Mild sadness for what was once the country of my birth. Resignation of what is to come and what the GOP will fall for. Deep aching for a new Reagan. Nostalgia for the 80s. Great admiration for Thatcher.
They didn’t offer any words strong enough.
Disgust and loathing.
My wife says that Chile is the place to live in South America. She says that it is a good, solidly conservative state.
Unfortunately I have to deal with a homeowners association and we’re bound by more restrictive rules.
Sad. Just very sad.
Joyous anticipation.........that we can finally put this day behind us, the sun will rise tomorrow and the DC love-in will be over. Michelle and kids will go on vacation, spring will put Obama back on the links, and I won’t see reruns of black gospel singers, and Beyonce butchering the National Anthem.
Thank you for voting!

"Get thee glass eyes;/ And like a scurvy politician, seem,/ To see the things thou dost not." - King Lear, Act 4, Scene VI
Nausea is not an emotion, is it?
I read somewhere that even ROE & WADE never had an abortion and have worked tirelessly for years to get that Democrat icon “Roe vs Wade” overturned.
“...our country is completely transformed into the countries that they fled to come here.”
That’s the part that gets me. Native-born Americans didn’t elect this guy. He captured the African American vote and the vote of all the ‘new’ ethnics who sacrificed to come to the USA, and at the first opportunity voted for the guy who will turn it into the $hi1hole they left.
The media manufactured “mandate” is just another lie.
A a dozen years ago, I visited the campus of my university that had been sold to a government “community college”. A safe sex festival was being held among beautiful McKim, Mead and White buildings. I immediately thought of the ending of Planet of The Apes. That is America today. A country of envious slobs who collect government benefits while being entertained by mindless reality programs. It will only get worse.
Where is the option for loathing?
Where is the option for loathing?
And they produce very good wines. Another plus for Chile.
We leave for New Zealand tomorrow afternoon. If it wasn’t for that I would not be able to contain my depression. I have gone thru life knowing that one of the keys is to not let the actions of others affect you daily well being. This individual has near exhausted my ability to live up to the challenge. This individual is from the dark side of politics. Socialist/marxist/communist/America hater/and on and on.

So who actually voted for Obama?
