Elation. Looked into moving to Ecuador.

To paraphrase a famous personage, "For the first time in my adult life, I am not proud of my country."

Any FReepers out there know anything about living in Ecuador?

I'm actually kicking around the idea of making the jump too... I'd like to get my family planted in a country where this can't happen. The last election was a sign, our country has been invaded and toppled; they outnumber us now. It's only a matter of time until our country is completely transformed into the countries that they fled to come here.

My wife says that Chile is the place to live in South America. She says that it is a good, solidly conservative state.
