Hurricane Sandy victim Scott McGrath unloaded on President Obama and Washington elites in an interview with Neil Cavuto today on "Your World." Here are some great quotes from Scott McGrath. Full Transcript to follow McGrath: 'This country is in debt. We are so eager to help other countries that we forget our own people.' 'They have to change this and cut out the pork. We can't accept it if it's gonna put us in more debt down the road.' 'A quick fix is not gonna help us....in the long run I don't want to be paying more taxes down the road.' (Obama) 'is a phony, he's a liar. Straight out liar. He said to me face to face he's gonna cut the rep tape. We're two months now no red tapes been cut.' 'There's jobs out there. People have to get off their rear ends and find the jobs and stop taking hand outs.'

Isn’t it interesting that every bad thing that happened after Katrina was the President’s fault, but every bad thing that has happened after Sandy is the fault of the House of Representatives?
I was yelling at the TV going........YEA!!! Say it Scott!!!!
Why don’t we have politicians while being interviewed saying Obama is lying.
Could say that every day that Obama speaks. I don’t know of one time that he has been in front of the camera where he DID NOT lie.
This guy reminds me of me if I was being interviewed.
Tired of PC BS!!! Tired
>>Hurricane Sandy victim Scott McGrath
I was a Hurricane Hugo “victim” in 1989. By the time 2 months had passed, the people of SC had pretty much cleaned up and moved on. There were still a lot of broken buildings, but no one was standing around crying about red tape holding up their gummint handouts.
“’There’s jobs out there. People have to get off their rear ends and find the jobs and stop taking hand outs.’”
I am one of those unemployed people who cannot even get an interview. College educated, decades of experience but haven’t worked for 12 years due to taking care of my dying parents. I am NOT taking any government handouts.
I’m trying the self-employed route, but this economy sucks.
“....havent worked for 12 years due to taking care of my dying parents.”
.
Your payoff will come, I’m sure.
Can’t tell you how much I admire you.
Poor guy just give him his piece of pork and he will love Obama again.....
Somebody remind me, why do I have to pay to fix his house? Nobody paid to fix mine in the 1971 California earthquake
(Obama) 'is a phony, he's a liar. Straight out liar. He said to me face to face he's gonna cut the red tape. We're two months now no red tapes been cut.'We've been saying Zero's a liar for over four years, and bupkis.
Thank you.
2012 was a really lousy year for my family. As an optimist I like to think there is nowhere to go but up.
Somewhere else on the internet I read that the Obama Administration is gearing up to impose Martial Law this year. They’re just waiting for an excuse.
Martial Law: THAT would make 2013 a really lousy year for many, many of our families.
“Somebody remind me, why do I have to pay to fix his house? Nobody paid to fix mine in the 1971 California earthquake”
Easy explanation: Hurricane Sandy was caused by global warm...climate change, or whatever it’s called this week, and the Saugus quake happened before global whatever was invented. The government should have already raised taxes enough to stop climate whatever but they have not, thus it is the government’s, i.e. the tax payers’ fault his home was damaged by Sandy. We must pay!
We must pay!
Ahhhh got it.....
My roof leaked from the heavy rains last month can I get in on this?
Sadly, not enough people watched that interview and many of those that did see it did not get the gist of the conversation.

However, what we have here is a guy going irate about not getting his handouts fast enough... other people's money. He's saying it himself; I want my handout money but cut out the pork... what?
Although I feel bad when I see that happen to someone, why are the taxpayers of America expected to rebuild his house in a zone that will likely get washed away by another hurricane at some point in the future? Same with NO... we should have just filled in the hole and told people to build elsewhere, the location is unsuitable for safe habitation and the taxpayers aren't going to be held accountable for building new homes below sea level on the damn coastline! geez...
Well yes and no.
No because the guy does pay his own money for his flood insurance through FEMA and he's complaining that FEMA is dragging their feet.
But yes, FEMA and the US Government should be out off the flood insurance biz. If somebody can't get flood insurance from a private company then they shouldn't be living in such a flood prone area.
Depends, had the statists implemented your carbon tax scheme by then? Might be a grey area...
“Tired of PC BS!!! Tired”
Every person being interviewed about the hurricane should begin with, “Well, first off, Obama is a corrupt liar and should be impeached!”

This man should have a job; and now - in Congress!
