Perhaps a 'Public Awareness Campaign'. . .
At least we already know his price. A government handout to fix his house.
Of course when he gets to Washington and meets all the lobbyists his price will go up. They ALL have a price.
Many from the Northeast went down South and donated to help out with Katrina. Sucks to hear the shallow disregard for those now struggling to replace their homes destroyed by Sandy.
Just imagine (it shouldn’t be difficult to do) what a furor there would have been in the Lap Dog Press if the Hurricane Sandy aftermath debacle had occurred on George W. Bush’s watch.
Bump
IIRC, many from the South went to the North to help and were turned back at the northern borders by the Union hacks.....ain’t that a shame.....I’m not going to shed a tear for ‘em.
He’ll be audited by the IRS and/or found to have “child porn” on his computer.
that fatso cretin Chris Christie was crying for at least 60 billion $ in federal money . socialist idiots. I was here for Katrina in new orleans. Saw them steal hundreds of billions of $ from the rest of America. don’t give them a sent to the begging idiots. they have their eyes big looking at that 60 billion $ they will steal.
Although we were spared the brunt of the storm in the Cape May and Wildwood communities, I can tell you many of us at the Jersey shore pay their own way through private insurance. I have a modest home and pay $1500/year just for flood insurance. I don't understand why FEMA gets involved at all. If you can't afford the insurance, then you can't afford the home - sell it.
Same excercise after the flood in Iowa. People simply cleaned up and repaired and moved on. Big difference between the doers and achievers and the parasitic demrats. I have several relatives in the Greenville area and out state. Good people. My two Uncles once had a cardboard business there with KFC as their largest client.
Well, we heard all over the press that help was on the way, FEMA was moving in at the gallop, zillions of people and FEMA trailers .... well, maybe not FEMA trailers, but living assistance, anyway, so nobody had to live in a cold, structurally-unsound house -- at least that's what we heard over the bassoons and French horns of the MSM hailing Obama's magnificence and his munificent visit to the Jersey Shore to distribute money, money, money to the slurping Joizy governor.
It was being handled. Don't you remember?
yea, just keep voting for democrats because as we all know, the government is totally reliable.
When a guy pays for home insurance and federal flood insurance is it asking too much that he be able to collect in a reasonable time? I had minimal Sandy damage. Actually most was caused by the follow on nor’easter, but my insurance company covered my losses within two weeks. I don’t consider that as receiving a handout. Rugged individualism is fine but if taxpayers from NY, Pa. Mi. Etc. had
not ponied up the bucks for Hoover Dam, Phoenix and San Diego would still be one horse towns. This argument has gone on since 1789 when Hamilton and Jefferson dueled and it has never been settled. One thing is certain. Neither extreme side in that argument is good for the nation and the People.
I’d say he should run for Congress, but he believes people should be self-reliant, and that won’t get him any votes.
IRS audit in his future do you think?
The muslem thug will have his minions combing through this guy’s records in no time.
Not only that, but most of the destroyed beachfront properties on the Jersey Shore are owned by rich, hipocritical Demonicrat 1%’ers who love big government more than the New Orleans poor big government losers!!!
I don’t see anything in this thread about denying homeowners reimbursement for their insured losses. Taking tax payer money and giving it to those who refused to buy insurance - that’s a different story.
‘Somewhere else on the internet I read ‘
And as we all know, if it is on the internet it has to be true.
Meet my girlfriend, her name is Rosie, she’s a big hollywood star, I read it on the internet...
