Bingo. We have a lump that keeps getting transferred to different sections. They can’t fire her. She has worked three different sections since I’ve been here and can’t seem to “learn” anything.

Can Obama do this by Executive Order?

Yup. Congress doesn’t care.

About as in-your-face as it gets,...

Only my guess, but it seems to me that this is just a test to see how far he can go. Expect similar "Executive Orders" regarding guns, medical care, retirement accounts, etc. to follow rapidly in the next term. Issuance is probably going to accelerate so as accomplish the real goal of "fundamentally reshaping America." Just how fundamental most people have no clue.

If the House doesn't exercise their power, they'll lose it through precedent.

The Republicans could stop this very easily.

Do not vote to raise the debt limit. That would shut this crap down in a heartbeat. They hold the purse strings.

If Obama tries to go over them and go against the Constitution, they can impeach him. This insanity stops when the petty little dictator is stopped.

The reason Obama continues to pull this over and over is because he is being allowed to do so. The Republicans are to blame by continually funding the travesty.

How does this “pay freeze” info jive with other news stories we’ve seen that the number of government employees making over $100,000 has skyrocketed under Obama?

Most of the worker bees make $35K - $75K. The $100K+ folks are the good commies that help create/enforce the unlawful laws/regulations/etc.

I can’t say that what you bring to the table is inaccurate. Mittens was a lib as well. However, I still believe even with the media in the tank we stood a better chance of folks like Rand Paul and Ted Cruz having a bigger voice because we(us) would have had a bigger voice, liberal media or not.
We would have been bolder and more outspoken if we were to win. The crybaby speaker of the house would have caught crap a bit louder everytime he screwed up. As it stands now, I am done with Parties. Best to stay “neutral” on paper.

But alas, not to be....can’t keep whining over “what could have beens” and best to work with the reality that we are in.

There is a lump running my former project. I don’t believe he has ever had the skills to manage an engineering project, which explains why it’s six months and counting behind schedule. All he’s going to end up doing is further destroying the image of the research facility where I worked, turning it into a punchline. I know because he’s all that’s left after almost every competent engineer under the age of 40 left to go elsewhere.

With millions of Americans out of work and or who had their salaries and hours cut, who can feel sorry for those making over 100k a year not getting a raise?

“226 members of Mr Obama’s staff are apparently paid over $100,000 - and the President can increase their salaries at any time.

And even the Obamas’ dog Bo costs the taxpayer thousands of dollars - his handler is reportedly paid over $100,000 a year.

Moreover, much of the money spent on Mr Obama’s family goes to perks such as entertainment and household expenses.

For example, the White House contains a movie theatre which is manned by projectionists 24 hours a day in case one of the family feels like a trip to the cinema.”

Obama family ‘costs taxpayers $1.4BILLION per year’ (that’s 20 times more expensive than British Royal Family)

sickening

Got it — looks like Obama was acting within the law. This whole thing was kept very low-key and was executed very quietly. Thanks for the research.

Not really, they are quite blatant about their communism and in communism the rich are always the ones who work for the government. This is what the morons in this country wanted and this is what they got...and he’s just getting started. 1,430 more days to go.

That’s exactly why liberals and their “tax the rich” argument can go to hell. Tax the rich for what? So schmucks like this guy can blow through $1.4 billion instead of that money being used to invest in companies to create JOBS? Can you imagine how many jobs that money could create? What kind of company could be created with that kind of money invested?

I saw that movie Lincoln the other night with my Dad, very good movie if you haven’t seen it yet. What struck me about it was how Lincoln although he was President lived as just another ordinary citizen. He would hang out in the telegraph office like any other employee, or go for walks by himself or ride in a carriage with his wife and nobody else. None of this royalty BS. No closing down 300 city blocks with a 500 people entourage so he can party with Jay-Z, no mega-concerts celebrating how great he is. To me what seems to have happened is todays politicians have taken advantage of the threat of assassination, used it as an excuse to blow through wads of money and to me this Obama is the worst out of all of them.

Back in the day a politician did his term then went back to being an ordinary citizen. Now most are self serving.
