After the deadly Aurora, Colorado shooting Feinstein criticized those who said responsible conceal carry permit holders could have stopped gunman James Holmes, saying "...and maybe you could have had a firefight and killed many more people. These are people in a theater."
Opponents of the Assault Weapons Ban point to Feinstein’s hypocrisy on the issue, as the Senator herself said she obtained a concealed carry permit in California when she felt her life was threatened.

Feinstein should be among the very first to give up her firearms ~ law or no law.
It is very hard to get CC in CA. I doubt you could get one based on her experience. Only someone who is political or law enforcement can get them.
That is not right. My father had a permit and he was neither LEO or political. He was a timber faller.

As I heard the story, she had permits for two guns. She very publicly gave up one of them and quietly kept the other one.

Depends on the county. Some are almost impossible, some are about as easy as it gets.
Your daughters can't get a concealed weapon???? Come on unless they are felons, they can get one and will years from now. There has to be other reasons why she can't get one if your daughters were turned down.
You obviously don’t live in CA. We can’t get a CC permit down here in So Cal. Maybe parts of the Central Valley or Nor Cal.....way North, not the Bay Area.

I think its funny how most of you all are shocked to discover liberals own guns. They like guns as much as anyone. Their problem w/ guns is that you can own them. The debate isn’t about guns per se but about who should own them and why.
Down here it is up to the county sherriff. If you don’t have a connection you don’t get a permit. They just tell you that you don’t have a special need or your job does not require you to have a cc permit.
I remember Feinstein’s picture at a press conference holding an AK47 with her finger wrapped around the trigger..maybe from the Clinton years. That the one?

It is right. It all depends on which part of the state you live in.
In Los Angeles County it’s next to impossible to get one.
If your dad got one there, I’d like to know what excuse he used for claiming he needed a CCW.
I believe it depends on the sheriff . This was Humboldt county and he did have to take a course and pay a fee. He didn’t carry large sums of money or anything like that. He just wanted it so he could have it in his pickup. There were definitely hoops to jump through but it wasn’t that bad here. I know some sheriffs make it near impossible.

I don't disagree that she should be able to defend herself and never will.
My point is that:
A. She wants to disarm us "little people" while the "important people" like herself get to remain armed.
B. When she's caught in that hypocrisy, she makes a show of giving up one of her permits without acknowledging that she's keeping the other one.
To me, that's elitist hypocrisy on steroids.

Of course. Rosie is another one of those important people who needs armed protection for herself and her family. She's perfectly happy with having the government keep us little people from having that same protection.
