I mentioned Kerry's military experience above.. even more outstanding is his diplomatic initiatives.
Though only a young Naval officer in the reserves he established his own Paris Peace talks with the Viet Minh demonstrating his ability to work with other countries for a common solution.
From this we can expect matters vis-a-vis Iran, North Korea.. the whole lot of them.. to be cleared up forthwith.

"Anybody who follows Clinton would have some pretty big shoes to fill. Clinton was not just the most popular member of the president's Cabinet for the past four years, she had celebrity status and respect almost everywhere she went around the world.."
Popularity and celebrity - no other qualications are relevant for the job. In the world of progressive government, packaging trumps substance every time.

John Kerry is remarkably unfit for any responsible post.
To: SoFloFreeper
John Kerry is remarkably unfit for any responsible post. As demonstrated by his bizarre offer to McCain in 2004 where, as his Vice President, McCain would have full control of foreign policy and national defense.
In other words, Kerry had no interest in actually being President, he just wanted to play the President on TV.

So is Teddy’s widow lined up tp run against Scott Brown?

I think Kerry will be an excellent choice. After all, he’s been to Vietnam and has the hat to prove it! It’s a magic hat, doncha know.

“Superb military and foreign policy experience.”
They failed to mention that Mr. Kerry is brilliant, absolutely brilliant, but not as brilliant as her brilliance Mrs. Clinton, who is the wife of the brilliant, absolutley brilliant, President Clinton, whose presidency was brilliant, absolutely brilliant, much different from that knuckle-dragging moron George Bush.
