GOP REP: BOEHNER MAY 'TARGET' MORE CONSERVATIVES
Breitbart ^ | Wednesday December 5, 2012

Posted on 12/05/2012 2:22:54 PM PST by Bigtigermike

House Speaker John Boehner on Wednesday warned his House Republican conference against dissent from GOP leadership – and threatened retaliation similar to that against the already-purged conservatives if anyone else breaks from his pack.

The Hill reports that, according to Kansas Republican Rep. Tim Huelskamp, Boehner used his weekly GOP conference meeting to “note that we [leadership] have punished four members, he claimed that it had nothing to do with their conservative ideology, but had to do with their voting patterns."

Huelskamp also said Boehner threatened “there may be more folks that will be targeted” and that Boehner told the caucus that “‘we're watching all your votes.’”

It’s unclear what criteria Boehner and GOP leadership plan to use in the weeks and months ahead. Boehner spokesman Michael Steel wouldn’t provide specifics on what criteria or votes on which the Speaker is “watching” conservative Republicans.

Instead, when asked, Steel provided Breitbart News with the exact quote another Boehner spokesman gave two nights ago for a response to a completely different question. “The Steering Committee makes decisions based on a range of factors,” Steel said.

Have we learned yet....

they are not our party,
we are not going to “take the party back.”

“The only people that can do anything about is Boner’s constituency. They need to vote this guy out once and for all.”

He ran unopposed in the last election. Could the reason be he was running to represent both parties?

Boehner looks at Pelosi with envy. He wants lockstep obedience as she gets, and is trying to force the troops into line. We have news for him....

These people Boehner is wantonly tossing from their assigned committees, and threatening others are “representatives” of the constituencies whom chose them, elected them to office for their ideology as it reflects upon their own.

Boehner is messing with the electorate that sent these Conservative “representatives” to the House.

The guy has to be gone from the leadership of the House ASAP.

Amash did not vote for the Ryan Budget...maybe that is why he is off the committee? and one of the guys was replaced with a protege of Jim Demint...I respect DeMint. Another one of the guys being replaced made a comment about “swimming drunk in the Sea of Galilee” lol and I am not sure about his voting record.
I chose to reserve my judgement for a while until I know all the facts.

The only way Bonehesd will be removed is by scandal.
He’s been in DC for 20 years and is too stupid to be squeaky clean.
Bonehead has declared war on conservatives. It’s way past time to
expose bones in his closet. Start digging conservative reporters.

Why would Ryan defend these four when they didn't back him?

They went against his budget and at least some of them voted for Ron Paul the wacko.

Boehner seems to have lost his mind - he has turned into a dictator - basically saying, “you don't buck me and you vote like I say or your punishment will be great”.

This is stunning to me and it appears the Republican Party is blowing up. I have to think this is a Boehner - Natl. Chairman Reince Priebus operation. Remember Priebus shut down conservatives at the national convention and Boehner was a party to that. The two of them are trying to stomp out the Party base and turn it into a more liberal party.

I wish our other Republican Representatives had enough guts to elect a speaker not in Boehner’s “click”.

This is a purge of Conservatives from the GOP

These people are Paul-ites.

Everyone is hailing them this week when nobody heard of them last week? Really?

Now, if it were Bachmann I would take more notice but these four who have connections with Ron Paul? No WAY.

Paul wannabees are whiners out for glory.

Oh, puh-leeze! Ron Paul is not the enemy here...John Boehner and his cronies are.

Why are you even here? Perhaps you should find a Republican site to spout your nonsense and not a Conservative site?

Yes, a DeMint protege is far superior to a Ron Paul protege. I'm glad that at least some people on this board are getting it.

Ron Paul is not the enemy here

OK...I see you are looking for enemies. I'm not. I'm just refusing to fall for the latest "heroes".

These four are not the enemy. They are just whiners who want their 15 minutes of fame.

And, yes, these reps are Paul-ites so Ron Paul is relevant.

The Geriatric Old Plotters strike again.

The Democrat Party is like an armed robber.

The GOP is like a embezzler that also molests your kids, drinks your whiskey and poisons your dog while you are away.

The enemy within is more odious and foul than the enemy at the gates.

Vichy Republicans?

Judenrat ?!!!??!!!

That’s pretty strong language! Reducio ad Hitlerium and all that.

Unfortunately, neither invective seems far off the mark. At best, the status of the Republican Party is somewhere in between.
