One day after Boehner mentioned an $800-billion tax hike -- half the amount President Obama is seeking -- conservative activist L. Brent Bozell III said the Republican Party is no longer the party of limited government, limited spending and limited taxes:
"It is now officially exactly right behind the Democrats -- on everything," Bozell said. "It is time for conservatives to start looking for a new home. There's precious little left for us here."
Bozell said it's no coincidence that just before releasing his proposal, Boehner orchestrated a purge of conservatives from key positions of power in the Republican Conference.

Nope, God said that He will bless those who bless Israel, and curse those who curse it, as part of the Abrahamic covenant; there isn't a command there to bless them. -- and there are other way besides just money that you certainly aren't considering.
Furthermore, how is it blessing them if to continue foreign aid to them will add to the burden that is and will enslave the American people for generations? Is it justice to take away someone's wealth and give it to another, or did God say (Ex 20:15) Thou shall not steal?

So? That's been a long time coming; it should have been lowered decades ago, and continued being lowered. According to the S&P Website's Definitions, we should be rated no higher than CCC, and that's being generous, we likely deserve a C or D.
Further, God's word is full of teachings on handling money; our current government could not care less what the Bible says about paying debts, or about responsibilities to paying what is owed.

Hm, that's funny. I don't hold the Mosiac Law as nothing, but I am not under it: Jesus has fulfilled my debts to it.

And indeed, it is because I cannot obey the Law of God that I once needed a savior, presently need a savior, and will need a savior in the future... and it is God's mercy and grace that provided one for me: Jesus, the perfect priest and mediator.

Your calling that assertion of the current impossibility of responsible monetary handling to yield ANY foreign aid as "placing money before" is ridiculous. Unless and until we have responsible finances there should be no foreign aid. In fact, there should be drastic reductions in government spending, to include wholesale dissolution of entire government agencies: the ATF, the FDA, the Dept of Agriculture, the DOE, the other DOE, the DEA... anything not specifically mandated by the Constitution to include NASA and the Air Force.
