In other words, if Obama takes us over the fiscal cliff, Bohner and the house GOP’s aren’t going to give Obama money for some very serious spending programs like Obamacare.

I think the GOP need to not fund that mess anyways.

so it will be with Republicans who sign on to this idiocy.

$$$$

You answered your own question. The Rs will be the bad guys no matter what results from these so-called “negotiations.”

I PRAY that they will not forget GHWB’s words and how they were used as a cudgel against him forevermore. If they keep his experience in mind it just may give them enough spine to keep saying no to Obama and his friends.

What exactly is the difference between the Commurats and the GOP?

The RATs are 100% wild-eyed, baby-killing, green-weenie, P/M union-thug whackjobs.

The GOP are about 40%

This is very damning stuff. If true than Norquist should be exposed and we should do it! If not he sure sounded good today.

Norquist "we need tv cameras on the hearings",bring in c-spam.They don't want to hear that.

If Norquist is dirty he's slicker than obozo.

Kristol was the worst. He doesn't understand why the Reps just don't cave on raising the marginal tax rates on the "wealthy." Romney did a good job of explaining how that would affect small business and jobs during the campaign.

And Kristol doesn't understand that raising the rates will split the GOP possibly causing the emergence of a third party. That is the real reason Obama is pushing this.

The sad part is that there will be no real reduction in spending. If we can't reduce spending by $100 billion a year in a $3.7 trillion annual budget, then both parties are not serious about the financial extremis this country is in. We are in dire straits and all these people want to do is rearrange the deck chairs on the Titanic.

Mark Steyn posted a brilliant column on the subject. Mark Steyn: America not paying its fair share You cannot simultaneously enjoy American-sized taxes and European-sized government. One or the other has got to go."

Alinsky RULE 12: “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions.

****

This is why “Grover Norquist” is becoming a household name.

What portion of our TEA Party will bail on the Republicans if they don't stop this madness ? I'm ready to go and I suspect most will also.

Next question; can the R's survive without us. Perhaps, but only as a fringe minority party.

Somebody's got to get serious.

Bernard Conspiracy Theory for the day: Turbo Tax Timmy is NOT on 5 Sunday morning talk shows because of the interest in the Fiscal Cliff. He IS on the shows to show that Obama can make really bad choices for Cabinet positions and get them confirmed. So, in contrast, Obama thinks Susan Rice looks better.

I feel the same way you do....How do we do it? do we have the time to do it? Can we do it..knowing how stupid the masses are? And how do you deal with the lies and the media backing those lies.

Part of me wants to get fired up and start working..part of me wants to run to the mountains and go Galt with guns.
