The Pentagon has just released their version of the 9/11 timeline and I think it is very interesting and damning to Obama. Specifically, we know that Panetta, Obama, Biden, and Donilon were at the White House for a previously scheduled 5 pm meeting. The attack had been going on for 50 minutes before Panetta was notified, and he was aware it was ongoing ..........................Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and his top military adviser were notified of the attack about 50 minutes after it began and were about to head into a previously scheduled meeting with President Barack Obama. The meeting quickly turned into a discussion of potential responses to the unfolding situ ation in Benghazi, where militants had surrounded the consulate and set it on fire

Now is where the plot thickens. It appears that POTUS 'delegated' the problem to Panetta. We know POTUS called Bibi Netanyahu and spoke with for an hour AFTER the attack had started and was still ongoing..............

Why was no picture of POTUS in the 'situation room' taken that night, showing him dealing with the crisis? We know after the OBL raid, pictures of him came out right away. During the election, there was POTUS in the 'situation room' monitoring Sandy. We can now surmise the reason there was no situation room picture taken is because HE NEVER WENT THERE.....

As that was happening, Panetta and Army Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, left the Oval Office and went into a series of meetings in the Pentagon with senior leaders to discuss how to respond to the Benghazi attack and assess the potential for other outbreaks of violence in the region. Between midnight and 2 a.m., Panetta began to issue verbal orders, telling two Marine anti-terrorism teams based in Rota, Spain, to prepare to deploy to Libya, and he ordered a team of special operations forces in Central Europe and another team of special operations forces in the U.S. to prepare to deploy to a staging base in Europe
The only conclusion that can be drawn by the Pentagon timeline is that when informed of the attack by Panetta at 5 pm DC time, Obama punted on responsibility for managing the response to the attack, which was still ongoing.
Even more damning is that at 5:30 DC time, the CIA rescue team was returning to the annex with the body of Sean Smith and the others rescued there. They would have certainly reported at this time they had recovered everyone at the consulate with the exception of AMBASSADOR STEVENS. Unless the meeting with Panetta, et al. was less than 30 minutes, Obama had to know the Ambassador was unaccounted for. If that did not necessitate a trip to the situation room, what would? Oh yeah, Hurricane Sandy a couple months later when a 'good' photo op was needed.
He needs an “intervention”, in my opinion. I have had a lot of friends, employees, and relatives that thought they could “handle a toke now and then”. Several of them died an early death!
One of them was a drug counselor at a famous “rehab center”. He had a saying he would throw out to new recruits “don’t be afraid to speak out, your instructors are the most F_____ up members here”!
Obama does not sit through any meeting for more than 30 minutes. His attention span is not sufficient to last more than that.
On the phone with? The National Security Council works out of the West Wing of the White House, which is where Obama was meeting with Panetta.
I can see your point, but a honorable military man will not dishonor the sitting CIC. It’s ingrained in them to be loyal and they know firsthand how a President’s stature in the world can cause turmoil when he is undermined at home. I think Petraeus will speak the truth, but he will be very careful.
Petraeus of all people would have seen how Democrats and the press destroyed Bush’s credibility. That’s why it’s amazing to be that he took a job with the Obama Administration after seeing how ruthless and political they are at every turn.
But I guess, like a good fighting man, he heeded the call to service.

#1. Petraeus is no longer “honorable” by engaging in the affair. So...
#2. He has nothing to lose if he decides to “dishonor the sitting CIC”. By telling the truth, he will regain honor in the eyes of patriots, i.e., the people whose opinions matter.
BTW, the sitting CIC is so stupid that he referred to it as “Commander AND Chief”; how much honor does he deserve, really?
Panic ? Let’s hope not. There should be no question on how to proceed, unless one is worried about something or someone else.

Though there could be multiple ways to execute a kidnapping, the kidnapping itself was not the end it was to be a means for Obama to:
1. Show his mastery of the Muslim world prior to the election;
2. Show that the Muslim world would follow his lead;
3. Have the Ambassador returned safely;
4. Drown out any message on the economy;
5. Other benefits - stick it to the Israelies.

When he testifies, he will be very careful. He knows what happened, and to tell the truth about OBAMA's dereliction of Duty is not to dishonor the office of the CIC.

IMO, Petraeus already drank the kool-ade by going along with the video lie. He could have stood for the truth then, but he didn’t. He carried the Obama lie forward. If he tells something different now, which version of the “truth” are we supposed to believe.
