Petraeus' wife is chums with Granny, and that Granny had his wife on her payroll.
That doesn't surprise me.
I think there were two plans as regards Benghazi and the election. One was to keep it quiet on the campaign trail, have Romney win, then send all the dolts of the benghazi fiasco on their way.
Plan B, the plan in effect now, was for Petraeus to resign and for the truth about Benghazi to come forth.
Fox reports now that Petraeus will NOT testify before the Senate. I suspect that Petraeus will spend a lot of time confabbing with senators off the record.
This idea is dangerous. Unless they have Obama on tape negotiating with the Muslim Brotherhood (which I suspect they have, perhaps Valerie the Iranian) it will look like a petty Republican vendetta to unseat a lawfully elected president. However, if there's damning goods out there on this Obama administration this could be the start of something big.

Fox is saying Petreaus will not be required to testify at the Benghazi hearings.

My husband is former CIA.
He will have to testify if subpoenaed. He can take the 5th if he doesn't want to lie anymore. I guess the White House claim National Security or whatever they claim, but this hearing is already behind closed doors and those senators already have top clearance, right?

The “Surge” was a patch job of bribes that should have been applied in 2004, Petraeus left Afghanistan a mess, he made those stupid comments related to the First Amendment rights exerted by an American citizen and he oversaw Obama’s “Kill List” drone war that slaughters civilians with impunity.
And now he gets rejected for being a creep.

I doubt that he will. petraeus has a very shady past...or he would never have been invited into the inner sanctum of infinite evil in the first place. Of his many sins, infidelity is the most respectable.
