Financially responsible immigration

TOPICS: Your Opinion/Questions
KEYWORDS: aliens; immigration; vanity
Freepers, we need to join the immigration fight and join it now. We need to start using words that don't paint us into being racists. I hereby declare we should stop saying that we're against 'illegal immigration' and start claiming that we're for 'financially responsible immigration policy'. It's a positive spin but, the same message. Start usung this phrase...make it part of our lexicon. Send it all the way up to Boehner. Being against something is much harder to sell than being for something. Say it with me...and keep saying. Financially Responsible Immigration Policy.

If the public had any clue what the words “financially responsible” meant we wouldn’t be in this predicament.

Political correctness is simply an American way to deny the obvious and lie. There have been very significant negative consequences to the unrestricted immigration from non European countries. These people have not and will never assimilate. America has been transformed forever by “feel good, see we’re not racist” bizarre policy.

Financially responsible immigration policy.

Um, would that be recouping costs via selling parts from "undocumented organ donors"?

This is an easy one.

Our immigration laws should match the immigration laws as pertains to US citizens of the country of origin of the immigrant in question.

For example, if Mexico allows US citizens to live/work/own property, get free medical care, get free education etc in their country, then we reciprocate.

If not, not. It would be handled like a treaty between the USA and the other country in question.

First and foremost, we need to scuttle any ideas of “comprehensive immigration reform”, period, no matter what that phrase means to various people.

There is absolutely no point in trying to figure out how to deal with he tens of millions of illegals already here until we stop the influx. Until the borders are secure, no plan, offered by any side to the debate, has a chance of working.

Grand, universal solutions simply don’t work. Isolate the most urgent problem, address it, and only then move to the next most urgent problem. With illegal immigration, that most urgent issue is securing the border.
