Hard to say for sure, but I can’t help but think the unfortunate comments of Mourdock and Akin helped kill the GOP’s hopes in the Senate.

States that go strongly for Republican presidential candidates still send Dims to the Senate. What sort of bipolar disorder causes this? What unique state issues (farm subsidies) cause these conservative states to persist is this contradictory behavior?

I said all along it was to close to call and the out of state GOP cheerleaders here laughed saying Rehberg would win by 10 points...

Montana's don't vote straight party tickets, if the GOP had ran someone who had not been in Washington forever they would have beat Tester..

The 30 million dropped in the race by the out of state superPACs didn't help him either. IMHO the folks running the GOP election campaigns were just out of touch with the real voters and all the rah rah rah was just an attempt to snow the electorate and they did not buy it...
