Hard to say for sure, but I can’t help but think the unfortunate comments of Mourdock and Akin helped kill the GOP’s hopes in the Senate.

It was a combination of factors that led to this resounding defeat. Connie Mack’s surprisingly poor showing early on against the very weak Nelson took one off the cards.
Then Akin imploded and refused to drop out. We then have Mourdock fall into the EXACT SAME trap (idiot!). We were crippled from here on in.
Romney’s loss in the election tipped the close races to Obama. Allen lost. So did Thompson. I never thought that PA race was a real shot. After all of this, McMahon and Brown in extreme libtard central zones didn’t stand a chance.

We then lost Rehberg due to a libertardian (though I give Ron Paul credit for stepping up and endorsing Rehberg, it wasn’t enough).

TOTAL DISASTER IN THE SENATE.
