Why can’t we even win in Montana and North Dakota where there are ample angry white men?

Yep. This Senate campaign is the biggest disaster I’ve seen in politics. We should have had 52-54 seats, at at least 50 pessimistically. Pure failure. Cornyn screwed up last time and lost a couple winnable seats, after trying to push Crist against Rubio. This time was a complete failure has got to go, and put one of the young guns in charge. Lee, Toomey, etc. This, in some ways, is worse than the loss of the White House. If we had reached majority, we could have forced some things on Obama (like Clinton in the 90s). Now, we have a bigger Dem majority, rubber stamp for the courts and treaties.

“Why can’t we even win in Montana and North Dakota - - - -”

Mindless stupidity.

People here in ND are overwhelmingly unhappy with obamacare, know the oil boom was not created by obama, but in spite of him, and they elected Frau Heitkamp.

What I do know is many ND’ers believe they should split the ticket, why I do not know. In the past many stated it was to keep a balance of power. But certainly this is not the case with this election. I would have to say the majority of the people of this state are just as dumb as the bluest of states.

I am disgustingly disappointed. I have a good neighbor who openly voiced obama needed to go. But when I mentioned Heitkamp, he was mum. I knew we were in trouble.

Because of Dan Cox, the libertarian taking away 6% from Rehberg.

Also, Rehberg, just didn’t connect with Montanans. He was a land developer type. Tester is a dry land farmer with some Montana bona-fides. Tester kind of led a positive campaign and let the surrogates bash Rehberg non-stop. I had bad Rehberg following me around on every website I went to.

Cox was boosted by a Democrat sponsored Sportsman’s group taking out ads saying that Rehberg supported Homeland Security taking land away from the hunters near the Canadian border, and Dan Cox was the true conservative.

Tester won from Conrad Burns, six years ago, because of the libertarian candidate taking enough of the vote away.

Same thing happened with Hill, the governor candidate this year; the libertarian took it away from him.

Rehberg just didn’t connect. He should have won when Romney took the state pretty handily, 56 to 43. I believe that Montanans just liked Tester’s folkiness and farming roots while all you saw from Rehberg were negative ads about Tester.

Face it...the angry white guy is dwindling away.
