2012 LIVE Official Recriminations Thread I
11/7/2012 | Sam PAine

Posted on 11/07/2012 4:28:34 AM PST by sam_paine

Post your "I Told You So" Vanities here!

DON'T Start the 50-millionth Vanity thread!

Find your allies on either side:

In this corner: "Romney RINO wasn't conservative enough to really win Purple PA and Ohio!"

In the other: "The Social Conservatives scared off too many Indiots!"

We can have the bile out here and leave the other threads to sincere discussion. Then the Admins can delete this later when we're all embarrassed of what we've said.

Here is the way I see it. This country consists of two ideas that are diametrically opposed. On one side you have those who are individualists. They work hard, make plans and have dreams. The believe in self governance and a personal value system that is imbedded in the religious ideals of our founders. It doesn’t matter whether they are Christian, Jewish or non affiliated. They were raised with a consistent set of morals.

On the other side you have those who believe there is some great collective mind that belongs to all equally. If someone succeeds they use it as an excuse to plunder the wealth and labor of their neighbor. After all, everything is everyones equally (except of course the time energy and thought behind the creation. in other words the labor shouldn’t be shared equally in their eyes). These people have no morals since all desires are equal. Contradictions have no place in their world. They can say that a pedophile has a right to rape your child and that your child has a right not to be raped. The dysfunction in this way of thinking never occurs to them as a hindrance.

In other words there is not much middle ground any longer for someone like Mitt to win. He offers nothing of real substance to either side. At least Obama offers something whether or not it is ultimately good for the country is of no matter to most of the non thinking masses. He is offering them some degree of safety is an overly exaggerated horror of a world. Food stamps and welfare will at least feed them. The see Mitt as taking it all away because he could offer no clear vision of the future. He couldn’t inspire them any more than he inspired those in the conservative corner. We will continue to be divided and it will get worse until we have a genuine candidate, who is strong and inspires the country to see and want greatness once more.

It seems to me that rather than try the same old formula of nominating a person with business background and some political success, why not look for a future strong candidate that is recently retired military, Hispanic background, or American Indian, who focuses on security of U.S., and fiscal responsibility, and leave personal and social issues to the states? Just a thought. I liked Ryan but he when he was picked I was going “whaaaa?” I didn’t think he added anything to ensure a broad spectrum of support.

How about vote fraud?

tomkat hereby eats crow, and publicly affirms a patriot's visceral loathing of the creatures on the left

A fitting & acceptable epitaph actually, which may be called for sooner rather than later, given yesterday's repudiation of the Constitution and re-installation of the enemy within.

Attn. White Males : Your mirror is not faulty .. that little red dot you're seeing is real, courtesy of this unrecognizable mongrel 'nation' of gray people and looters.

If it was "always about Ohio," then the GOP would have been better off blowing its collective brains out than nominating a guy whose public stance against the auto industry bailout made him such an easy target for the Democrats.

So how do we get that nominee? Who would it have been?

Certainly none of the flawed ne'er-do-wells that ran in the GOP primary.

Who is the silver-tongued conservative businessman or governor that would've wooed unionistas in Ohio, or Virginia federal bureaucrats?

Clint Eastwood? John Sununu? Rush Limbaugh?

The electorate has spoken. They will have to live the next four years - if not four generations - with the consequences.

Obama will remain blamer-in-chief, while accomplishing nothing - just like a lot of his supporters.

Meanwhile, the leftists will continue to scheme in the background, rubbing their hands in glee at the downfall of their greatest competitors for power (the Constitution and America’s moral fiber), and Islamofascism will do the same for their Great Satan.

Republicans will continue to play the “I’ll give you my lunch money if you promise not to call me names” approach.

In other words - nothing will change.

Meanwhile conservatives are birth-controlling themselves into oblivion.

Is it moral for a conservative to bring a child into this country as just another slave to the 47%?

Arguably, a lot of that can be chalked up to true-believer syndrome and confirmation bias. Throw in a little false-consensus effect, and there you go.

Excellent summary. It will be ignored of course.

“A liberal Republican lost to a Marxist Democrat.”

That is just about it.

No one with a modicum of sanity took him seriously before. The man has always been 100% wrong. A few FReepers pointed this out, but we refused to listen because we could not believe that Americans could not be so stupid as to vote for Obama again.

We need to face it. Americans ARE stupid. Especially American women.

“Worse, we have officially lost the young”

My teenage son heard the results, was in shock, saying he could not believe how many stupid people are out there. Unfortunately, he’s probably one of the only conservative leaning kids among his friends. So, he’s out numbered in his age group.

Amerika is no longer a religious conservative nation. The majority has spoken. They want Obamacare and abortion on demand and they like free stuff. I can’t be proud of my country anymore. I am so ashamed. I want my son to come home from Afghanistan soon because the blood that has been shed was not worth it for this secular nation.

In my area many city halls and public schools were closed for the first time ever. This was done so that these public employees could serve as poll judges and poll watchers and Republicans for a day if necessary. What could go wrong???

Those who say America is done because a president won reelection by a smaller majority than the first time (the first time ever...) need to get a clue and have some Reagan optimism.

Here here! Right now, the losers are feeling worse than they should, and the winners are feeling better than they should. Most everyone will be misinterpreting the results. I am going to let the emotions die down before I really get into the numbers. As much as this hurt to watch last night, I am already getting over it. We have a damaged (yes, I said it, DAMAGED) presidency at work, and there ARE ways to oppose it, we just need to stop crying and get to work.

Well, I suppose all one can do is lovingly preserve and treasure our own memories and histories, any sort of record or relic of the orginal America, Constitution, etc.. Stash it where no one can find it ...because someday, we may be able to drag all of that out and demonstrate it again ....to the fallen masses and destitute peoples — that THIS is once how America was ...this is what it once stood for — and that THIS is what we CAN return to again ....if we finally LEARN what it takes to keep it. It’s probably going to require that we watch the country hit absolutely rock bottom before anyone truly gets it, or is ready to absorb that information — but it could once again, make a great comeback.

Doubtful ...but, we CAN still preserve those memories and records. No reason to stop trying to educate anyone you can.

And in the meantime, we can sit back and let go — let Obama take FULL responsibility for what is about to occur. FULL, 100% blame. It’s going to be rough beyond rough, but we, the “other half” will get through it. We’re heading into the dark age of America.

Perhaps many us, as well, did not do all WE could to keep it.

So I guess you’ll be supporting the Christie 2016 campaign. Good luck with that. Another guaranteed loser.

Absolutely not. No. East. Coast. Yankee. Ever.

What is concerning is, he was thinking about joining the military. This concerns me because I think the real S is about to hit the fan in the ME and I don’t think this CIC will have his back. I think were about to see a lot of global chaos soon.

If you have the media you can change the rest by simply showing people the truth for a change.

The public is spoon fed leftist crap 24/7 and 99% don’t even know where to look for the truth. FReepers know, but we are a rarity.

How many states would Obama have won last night if the press had reported even one scandal honestly, day after day? BenGhaziGate or Fast-and-Furious for example. He might have won California and New York but maybe not even those.

1. Until the winner takes all electoral college is changed to a proportional system there is little hope that a Repub will ever again win a Presidential election. Giving the RAT candidate a 150 point head start is too much to overcome. Since this will not happen we can look forward to Marxist Presidents for as far as the eye can see.

2. The country is beyond saving. Every year the colleges turn out tens of thousands of brainwashed little leftists and activists who go on to teach in the schools, work in the press and entertainment media. The birth rate among the responsible is at below replacement levels. The least responsible, intelligent, independent, multiply like rats. Same for the illegals (soon to be legals). The least patriotic, religious and moral, gain in number, control the education system, the news media, and popular opinion. Its a near perfect idiocracy scenario.

3. America was a great experiment and worked. For a while we had the best economy, military, education system, scientists, etc. We were the envy of the world. We allowed the multiculturalists, the radicals, the freaks and perverts to convince us that we should be more like the loser countries. Its as if the successful doctor is convinced that he should follow the example of a street sweeper. Everything that made us great has been systematically destroyed. Now nothing works.

4. The people made their choice and they will suffer the consequences. Its a law of human nature that painful change will not happen unless there is no alternative. That means the system must first collapse before it can be restored. Its going to be a bumpy ride.
