We May Be Better Off than We Were Four Years Ago-Vanity
Vanity | 11/07/2012 | Biblebelter

We may be better off than we were four years ago. At least we have a shell of the two party system still in place. Barry screwed up big time. Of course when Barry screws up there are very few to point that out. However, the Spanish speaking media took him to task for not passing blanket amnesty while he had majorities in both houses. Blanket amnesty should have been his first move because once blanket amnesty is given three or four years to take effect, you have essentially established a one party system of national government in perpetuity. Adding five to ten million registered voters to the Democrat Party is pretty much game, set, match.

If Barry's first move would have been blanket amnesty, he might have lost the House in the midterms. But come this election he would have most likely won the presidential election in a landslide and most likely had majorities in both houses and he could have done whatever he wanted in his second term.

He can back door some immigration reform in his second term, but it will not be through legislation. Boehner and the Pubbie elite are pretty stupid, but they are smart enough to know that their only chance to maintain their majority in the House is OPPOSE any legislation that Barry proposes.

Juan McCain truly scared me because the crazy old Rino relic might have been crazy enough if elected to conspire with the Democrat congressional majorities in both houses to pass blanket amnesty which he was so hot to do with his sidekick Jorge until the American people shot it down.

Mittens always made me nervous when he bragged about how he had worked with Democrat majorities in the Massachusetts legislature. If you could work with that crowd, he might have sold out to Dingy Harry Reid and Turban Durbin. One thing is for sure to pass any legislation he would have had to sellout to them because there is no way that treacherous crowd would have given him an inch.

As long as the House and Senate are divided, Barry's hands are somewhat tied. After all Obamacare only came about for two reasons. First because he had majorities in both houses and secondly because that dolt Dubya nominated a traitor like John Roberts to the Supreme Court who turned the Constitution upside down in order to keep it the law of the land.

Sure times are bad, but at least King Barry does not have Queen Nancy to ramrod his agenda through the legislative branch.

As long as the House and Senate are divided, Barry's hands are somewhat tied.

You're whistling past the graveyard. Just like amnesty, he'll issue "executive orders" to do what he wants and the democrat senate will keep the house from having any meaningful oversight. Add that to his appointments to the federal bench and he'll have free rein.

His extended use of Executive orders will now be going to the Supreme Court.

The thing is, Dems figured out how to mine new votes in Presidential years but I suspect 2014 will be like 2010...mainly because a lot of those people won’t bother without Obama on the ticket.

2016 might be a repeat of 2012 if the Dems nominate someone who can inspire them, then a repeat in 2018 of 10 and 14?

Things don’t stay the same...but patterns do emerge for a time. The Demographic wave is here, but a lot seem only to me interested in the BIG elections.

“He will now pardon all illegals”

I laugh at all the 3rd party types. We’ll be lucky if we will even have 2.

better off than four years ago? certainly. better off than 5 years ago? no way. the bush economy was good for 7 out of 8 years. The Obama economy has been bad for 4 out of 4 years.

lol, no kidding!

I’m thinking of all the ways I can make every lib I know absolutely miserable :)

No more shopping at any establishment that supports this
agenda. No more business with any company that supports this. I’ve lost friends over this and though it’s kinda sad, I see clearly how evenly divided this nation currently has become.

I choose to believe we are stronger, smarter, and far more clever. It’s time we put it to good use. I reject the idea that our side has to take the high road, and I sincerely hope we stop with that garbage.

If Romney would have won, he would have been a one term president and most likely lost the House as well.

Obama \kicked every economic can down the road until AFTER the election. It makes little difference who was elected, there is going to be a FISCAL RECKONING in the next four years.

Whoever, the Democrat the runs in the next election will try to blame it on that Tea Party congress but I doubt if that will stick.

If Romney would have won, he would have taken the blame for the economic land mines that Obama planted to go off in the next four years.

Barry may have won the election, but his economic chickens are going to come home to roost and I am kind of glad that he will be in office to reap what he sowed.

You talk like there is ever going to be a fair election in this country again.

You talk like a fool.

Good and interesting points. Personally, I am praying for an Obama impeachment and conviction.

who do you think is going to impeach him with a Democrat controlled Senate and the Cryer as Speaker of the House?

Operative word: "Praying."

Miracles happen. Truths win out. Vote fraud was rampant, we all know it, the elephant in the American living room.

Good thing Romney stopped sending money to Mourdock and Akin then. He’s actually going to lose senate seats.

And now 0bummer will be able to nominate two justices to the Supreme Court. Just how many years that will set back our Republic is unknown.

Obama has “flexability” now, and is now going to play by his own rules. I really doubt now that he even really cares what congress does or says, he has a blank checkbook in the form of executive orders, and a government packed full of fanatical supporters and useful idiots. And people scratch their heads and wonder how people like Stalin, Mao, or Hitler could rise to power. Now you get to see first hand.
