A woman wearing an MIT t-shirt was barred from voting Florida, according to a local report. MIT stands for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, not Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
"A woman attempting to vote in West Boca Raton this morning was initially prohibited from entering the polling place because she was wearing a tee shirt with the letters MIT," BocaNewsNow.com reports.

Well, being as this was in Boca, and the shirt wearer probably originated in Mass., she was likely an 0bamao voter.

M.I.T. is an elite technical school — it attracts top students from everywhere. Engineering students tend to be a lot more conservative than liberal arts students. I’d downgrade your “probably” to a “possibly”.

I wore my FUBO shirt. Nobody said a thing.

Harvard students can't count, MIT students can't read
To: ConservativeStatement
Poll workers should have to demonstrate that they can “fog” a mirror before allowing them to work there.

Engineering students tend to be a lot more conservative than liberal arts students because they have to work with the real world as opposed to dream fairy land.

From yesterday:
http://www.upi.com/Odd_News/2012/11/05/Fla-mayor-irked-by-poor-pronunciations/UPI-71371352151257/
BOCA RATON, Fla., Nov. 5 (UPI) — The mayor of Boca Raton, Fla., says her desire to hear people properly pronounce her city’s name may lead to slapping an “e” at the end.
Boca Raton Mayor Susan Whelchel said she cringes when she hears someone pronounce “Raton” as if it rhymes with “baton” instead of “ra-tone,” the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported Monday. An ordinance in 1982 attempting to halt the mispronunciations failed to pass.

Yep. Also, the math requires mental discipline — OTOH, Post Modern literary criticism (for instance) requires a certain level of detachment from reality. Actually, it requires a complete denial of the concept of “reality”.

MIT stands for Massachusetts Institute of Technology a school where students tend to know how to spell and how to build lasers that can vaporize idiots.

Here’s a clue, Eddie: the first is a re-write of Einstein’s famous equation, as ‘find M=’. The expressions each find a letter, the first being “M”

OK....Ill bite. Whats that mean?E = Mc2
E/c2 = M
the best-known imaginary number, "the square root of -1," is represented by "i"
Ideal gas law in equation form: PV=nRT [where T means temperature]
PV = nRT
PV/nR = T
Therefore this is obviously a Mit Romney dog whistle, and no one should wear it anywhere near a polling place. For one thing, it will clash with the Obama mural.
To: MHGinTN
I always knew there was a reason why I turned Hahvard down, and went to MIT instead, :)

Heres a clue, Eddie: the first is a re-write of Einsteins famous equation, as find M=. The expressions each find a letter, the first being MI am a victim of the "New Math" they tried to cram down our throats in the early 60's. I went from "A"s in math to never better than a C almost all the way through college. I was hopelessly behind until they started letting us use electronic calculators.

I would refuse to remove the tee shirt and challenge the poll worker for stupidity.
Follow that up to investigate the system, and whether a******s accepted for polling work have a minimum IQ of 70.
Further, the DOs and DON'Ts of legal behavior should be prominently posted in EVERY FREAKING POLLING PLACE!
