Sounds like Katrina... And FEMA I think we could say is not giving them help because of skin color. I wonder how the affected people are going to vote on Tuesday
Bush performed WAY better than this regime, yet they called him racist.
obozo has let Holder’s people as well as everyone else, twistg in the wind as a result of his indecision, overall stupidity and self-centeredness.
Wonder if the MSM will start blaming obama like they did with Bush...
Oh wait...
This is worse than Katrina or will be soon, far more affected. When we lost power with the 2008 ice storm for 8 days I had enough firewood to get us through. Temps never got above 20 degrees. Of course I don’t live in a city or a suburb.

Nope. Obama is at operation x in Las Vegas directing all the support in NY-NJ. The man is freaking amazing!!
BTW George Bush is a racist.
The storm was not worse than Katrina but it is worse than Katrina because of the people in charge. You have Snobby Mayor who thinks good PR means making people forget about it by holding marathons and concerts. You have them not wanting to call in the NG because it would look like they failed at something (bad PR?). FEMA has totally failed.
They might, MIGHT, get some MRE’s on election day, not many and it’s not a sure thing. Like the gas distribution mess, it’s all for photo-ops.
I didn’t like George W Bush all that much but at least he’d be there with a chainsaw cutting up fallen trees, handing out bottled water from a truck. I think THAT imagery would
lift a lot more spirits than an Obama photo-op on the tarmac before he went to Vegas for a $25,000 a plate fundraiser.
It doesn’t look like any of the politicians want to be seen with their sleeves rolled up and get in the gunk. I guess it’s because they fear their PR would suffer.
You have union labor turning away cheap help from the South. These folks are demented beyond repair.
Wouldn't it be nice if we could get the public to act uniformly when 'informed' by a central source ?
Humans being what they are, some prepared, some didn't. Placing blame is something that the media and politicians are good at, but we weathered a natural calamity, and yet lost relatively few lives. PEOPLE, average every day citizens, are doing all they can to help.
Those who can't help, can pray. We have dealt with worse than this and often it has made us stronger, and better.
"Vote for Obama on Tuesday, and on Wednesday you get your food and water."
Not really. More like the opposite of nice. |
"Vote for Obama on Tuesday, and on Wednesday you get your food and water."
With an attitude like that, I can see we are going to have to force you to have one of the new wireless brain implants.
You have union labor turning away cheap help from the South. These folks are demented beyond repair.

I kinda bristle at the word ‘cheap’ there.....but I know what you’re sayin’.
Spoke to a friends of mine in the field (electrical from the area) and they will not be offering their help any time soon. Real slap in the face and insulted. Wives are pi$$ed as well as some of them had young families and were giving their time to be away from them.
it is obamas katrina and the liberal press is silent.
I guess I could have defined that better.
You have union labor turning away non-union labor from the South. These people are demented.
BTW I live in the South and make just as much as any field jockey in the North. My take-home is MUCH higher.
Example of gummit idiocy:
Gas lines are horrendous, stretching for miles.
Some pumps have gas, but no power.
Some pumps have power, but ran out of gas.
Gas consumption increased for running of generators and power tools, besides driving around, looking for gas.
Now rationing even/odd days in Joyzee.
Instead of providing (by military) generators for pumps and securing deliveries for operating pumps, they “manage” consumption and preparing for freeekin marathon, with hugh generators standing idle.
Welcome to Ameritopia!
Poor people but you have to wonder if there's any insulation in her house. It's been almost as cold here and my old '73 trailer only drops a few degrees or 5 at most at 32F during the night. And don't most people have at least one sleeping bag in the house?
Something like that
