LA Times, San Francisco Chronicle, and Washington Post all had either stories or opinion columns critical of the Benghazi raid yesterday. ABC carried McCain’s strong denunciation of the White House last night.
FOX broke the “stand down” story on Friday. No news organization is going to use a competitor for its source, so the major outlets scrambled over the weekend to find their own verification and more details. Storm Sandy dominated coverage Monday and Tuesday, and rightly so.
They can’t run with what they haven’t got, but I’m betting there is enough dissention to provide good details, facts and evidence, as this progresses. Let’s see what the latter part of the week brings. Here’s hoping.
The White House was talking about it, Senators were talking about it etc, parents of the dead were talking about it.
Hard to see how that isn’t enough to at least write a basic article.
Why can’t we sue the various networks , and mainstream media for dereliction of duty ??
