Political measurement aside, wait until he sees the failed fiscal measurement revealed by a decrease in tax revenues.
If only the jerks who vote for this crap could be the ones who have to pay for it...
Whew. the last thing the state’s employed needs is higher taxes.. it’s bad enough they quartered and half-dollared to death already. for what? a busted system, worried more about foreign interest than its own citizens. let it rot.
Vote NO! and Damn NO!! to all parcel taxes and tax measure seeking to ‘Feed theBeast!’ Within!!
For years , time and time again, the vote has been ‘rigged’ and bought and stolen thru coercion and subterfuge, all of which has stolen the California Dream, today’s dream is more a nightmare for many as the state slowly bellies up and prepares to slip beneath the waves
But, but, but, it’s for the chhiiilllldddreeeen!
Anyone that approves this sneak around tax increase is nuts!
Could it be that Californians, who have never seen an education proposition they didn’t like, are finally getting fed up with getting no bang for their buck?
No on 30
“If only the jerks who vote for this crap could be the ones who have to pay for it...”
That’s the idea, it’s class warfare! Make the “haves” pay for sh!t for the “have nots.” But it’s worse than that because Prop 30 receipts go into the General Fund so Moonbeam and the RATs can use it any way they please. Most likely to shore up the PE union pensions, but none of it goes to the schools to benefit the students.
Since when has there been a referendum that couldn’t be reversed by a judge?
This is PRC, the People’s Republic of California, we’re talking about.
lol Kalipornia voting against a tax hike, wow.
the unfortunate payback the politicians will invoke on a prop 30 defeat will be placed upon the very working people who pay the taxes in the first place and not on those dead beats who the politicians give our tax money to in order to get their votes as to stay in office. Due to the lack of immediate consequences for the politicians who do that is the reason CA and the Fed gov is broke. It’s like waiting to call the cops on an unarmed bank robber after watching him take 3 hours to empty the vault. Once the money is gone, it’s effing gone and the unaccountable politicians are still in office.
Is there any tax scam that comes out that isn’t “for education”??
On my way home from Sacramento a talk radio caller said she heard Jerry Brown give a speech on Prop 30. Behind him was the head of the high speed rail.
This money is not marked exclusively for schools. Brown is using schools to sucker people into passing more taxes.
And what does go to schools will cover benefits. Brown refuses to cut any unions benefits or cost to California for illegals at 21 billion plus a year.
This is a Brown payback to his unions who own him just as the high speed rail is.
Contrary to poular opinion, there is actually a precedent for that. Does the phrase “Proposition 13” mean anything to you?
Prop 13 was what, 30 years ago? It wouldn’t pass today. Not a chance.
Oh I forgot, some very big donations coming in from Republicans to pass this. Many of them farmers.
Seems a deal may have been made if they back Brown on prop 30, Brown will pass the Delta tunnels twin tunnels. The show went on to say Brown will never pass anything for them because Feinstein has done the very same thing and screwed the them everytime.
Kind of scary these politicians are so blatant and also scary some mega wealthy people are so dumb.
I believe Brown has robbed other coffers and if this does not pass he is in deep trouble. So he is willing to say anything even if he risks huge repercussions.
That is one thing that makes California stand out above all other states, the politicians have become so blatant, and the voters stupid beyond belief. And I mean politicians right down to county and city level.
