Could it be that Californians, who have never seen an education proposition they didn’t like, are finally getting fed up with getting no bang for their buck?

No on 30

We're at the bottom of the tests, yet our teachers are some of the highest paid AND get a generous pension after years of not teaching the kids.

I liked how the schools were run in Texas better - teachers did not get a pension so those that were lousy at it got to leave and find something they could be good at. Those that were teaching from the heart stayed because they got more than just money for it. Not that Texas is ranking all that great in test scores, what with pandering to the illegals also, but at least thetax payers didn't get bilked.
