Romney supporters think he won the debate. Obama supporters think that he did. The important fact is that Obama needed a clear and decisive win to offset the shellacking he got two weeks ago. And he didn’t get it.

Having had a night's sleep to reflect on things, Tuesday night's debate between President Barack Obama and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney is starting to feel more like the challenger scored a narrow victory.

Heh, heh ..... exactly what I've been saying all morning .... as the week goes on, it will become apparent that Romney actually won (even if 'narrow').

People are starting to figure out that Obummer’s “To Do” list in 2012 is pretty much the same as it was in 2008. He spent much of his time talking about things that he wants to do in a second term; the trouble is that these are the same things that he wanted to accomplish four years ago. Obummer was begging for a “Do Over”...like a damned five-year-old kid.

I can tell you when Romney won. When he kept trying, but couldn’t get, Obama to tell the truth about oil drilling on federal land, AND when he prodded Obama about Benghazi and the jerk lied through his teeth- AGAIN.
I loved it when Obama tried to look angry about the Benghazi question. He has lied, his administration lied, and then they ALL tried to cover it up.

All Romney had to do was hold his ground and not make a mistake. He didnt, and came across as presidential even though the debate was moderated by a democrat political hack who threw the debate.

In the days ahead, Crowlady will become the focus of that greasy back handed tactic. This debate was a wash, damaged beyond any repair.

So, now we have had the democrats even damage the integrity of debates-forever. They simply do not care, they destroy everything they come in contact with.

Anyone who thinks the ghastly, deer-eyed, robotic display by bam last night, with a pocket full of platitudes and nicotine patches under his shirt was a “win” is smoking something.

Romney set Obama up on the Libya charade, whether purposeful or not. On Monday, Romney can use the fraud Obama and Crowley perpetrated in the debate to shame the President for his dishonesty, and not being straight with the Amreican people, about Libya and foreign affairs generally. Link up the bamboozling with what he is doing with Russia, “I’ll have more flexibility after the election.” We need a President who is realistic, not one who lives in a fantasy world and tries to fool the American people into believing things that just aren’t so—like killing Bin Laden means that Islamic terrorism is a thing of the past.

Romney’s message was strong and in the vein of “We can’t take another four years of Obama’s economy and Obama’s policies”

It is the type of message that will be remembered. He repeated it in several variations over and over in the answers to many of the questions.

So yes, the debate was a win for Romney, message successfully sent and received by the independent voters out there.

No matter what the outcome, no one on the side of Obama and the MSM will even hint that Obama may have been edged out last night in debate two. He got so slammed in the first one they simply cannot admit that he was anything but stellar.

Romney did not lose the debate. Obama’s standard level set from the first debate did not need much to exceed.
But Romney left so much on the table. Fast and Furious during gun control, Obama’s own administration pays the women in the WH less than their male counterparts, and on and on....
He needs to be able to make his points in more concise terms.

I’d say the reported explosion of death threats against Romney is proof positive that Obama lovers think Romney won last night.
