I’d call that a flat trend line.

An awful lot of people are going to lose their very high paying jobs or maybe they won’t...too established. It’s like living with the lie that Hitler was a Catholic and a right wing extremist. It’s carved in stone.

I have no idea why the text in Post #39 is in red. Your link, "SolarCity - Another Obama Scandal" was not properly closed with a slash. It looks like this < a>.

You are right! (but then you knew that) I just went back and looked where I forgot something and saw the missing /. Maybe in a way it is appropriate — the watermelon has been cracked open.

I wouldn’t want to have our wine producers accidentally have their buildings and homes burned down over this issue.

"I have no idea why the text in Post #39 is in red." I haven't checked the thread source code to examine your post yet, but I bet you left off the "</a>" to terminate your "Solar City" link...

IMO the last paragraph of the article is a copout to the rest of the article.
“So lets be clear. Yes: global warming is real, and some of it at least has been caused by the CO2 emitted by fossil fuels. But the evidence is beginning to suggest that it may be happening much slower than the catastrophists have claimed a conclusion with enormous policy implications.”

I’ve never found anybody willing to argue with me that we are closer to the next ice age than we are to the last one. The geologic record is just too plain. If anything we’ve had a slightly longer than typical mild stretch. Relax and enjoy it while it lasts.

You’d win that bet. Thanks for the info.

IMO the last paragraph of the article is a copout to the rest of the article.I saw it more as an, "You've made a mountain out of a molehill," admonishment - WITH ENORMOUS POLICY (taxes, regulations, lifestyle, energy, economic, employment) IMPLICATIONS!

To quote ole Joe “It’s a bunch of malarkey”. These “scientists” such as Collins, and his ilk are living high on government, and Corporate grants, rejoicing in the adulation of their followers/Climate Groupies if you will, and the Universities support them as they are gaining grants, and prestige amongst government, and major Leftist wealth in doing so.
There’s money to be made creating lies, and perpetuating them. Look at Communism for proof of that.

However,he said he was still convinced that the current decade would end up significantly warmer than the previous two. So, we were wrong then, and we're wrong now, but we hope to be proven right at some point in the indeterminate future. So keep that grant money a-flowin'

If they didn't ban water for those farmers in California to protect some little fish called the smelt ? then they won't have had those dust bowls in the west.
Yeah, I know, hyperbole, but the drought that happened this year is the cause of the liberal/environmentalist banning water use for those farmers causing all those farms to become nothing but a huge dust bowl therefore effecting the delicate balance of the clouds and the environment.
What you say ?
Remember during the 1930's depression when farmers didn't have money to plant crops ? and then you had all those dust bowls ? same here...
Yeah, I know, hyperbole... but hey.. got to blame someone and might as well blame the mislead liberals and environmentalist.... I stick to my statement.... all Liberals/Environmentalist fault...
To: Izzy Dunne
The drought that effected half of the US was the result of the liberals/environmentalist's ill advised effect to put farmers out of business by claiming that some little smelt fish needed to be saved.
All those farms turned into dust bowls and have effected the delicate balance of the weather, cloud systems, temperatures from California and 1/3 of the USA.
Hyperbole... HECK YEAH.. but I am going to stick to my statement..
