Anti-Jihad Ads Considered Constitutional
COLLEGIAN.csufresno.edu - Top Opinion Story ^ | September 24, 2012 | Liana Whitehead

Posted on 10/01/2012 2:02:13 PM PDT by Cindy

SNIPPET: "New York City is the center of a public uproar as Internet blogger Pamela Gellar rises with an “anti-jihad” ad campaign."

SNIPPET: "Gellar and her group are protesting the Jihad, which in definition is the religious duty of Muslims.

According to the Dictionary of Islam, jihad is defined as “A religious war with those who are unbelievers in the mission of Muhammad . . . enjoined especially for the purpose of advancing Islam and repelling evil from Muslims.”

The literal meaning of jihad, according to the British Broadcasting Network, “is struggle or effort, and it means much more than holy war.”

The word jihad describes three different struggles, including “a believer’s internal struggle to live out the Muslim faith as well as possible, the struggle to build a good Muslim society and Holy war — the struggle to defend Islam, with force if necessary My politically incorrect nature wants to applaud the American Freedom Defense group for not softening the blow in their anti-jihad campaign."

SNIPPET: "What some refuse to see is the imminent danger that lingers with current events.

Our desires are honorable — to feel carefree and live under the laws of peace and hope — but we cannot act obliviously when real harm is knocking at our door.

Now is not the time to lose whatever support we have."

“Sometimes The Jihad Media Recede, But Never Die”
Ramzan 26, 1433 A.H, Wednesday, August 15, 2012

SNIPPET: “The Jihad information media have an important role in Jihad itself.”

SNIPPET: “Many people doubt the jihad media, thinking that the jihad media have no influence on the enemy’s moves.”

SNIPPET: “The existence of i’lam (information media) and especially the jihadi i’lam can never stop until the Judgment Day. The position of the media becomes very important as a broadcasting and manhaj-raising tool in making the program of the da’i or jama’ah successful.”

SNIPPET: “I have emphasized what I am saying in the previous paragraph, i.e. the internet is not the only tool that we have in the arena of jihadi i’lam, even though it is the most quick and effective means. There are means other than the internet, though traditional it is able to meet the needs and bear good results while waiting for the subsequent displacement of many of the obstacles. If indeed obstacles are very disturbing, then we could go back using the internet as a tool that is easily operated.”

SNIPPET: “Author: As-Sheikh Abu Sa’ad Al-Amily may Allah forgive him Jumadil Ula 1433 Hijriyah

Translated and Submitted by a Mujahid”

SNIPPET: “Looking away, not caring, or hoping for the best are not viable options in fighting terrorism (in general) and the global jihad (specifically). Terrorism must be fought head on 24/7 and preventing terrorism is far better than just reacting to one terror-related event after another.” -Cindy (July 1, 2011)

SNIPPET: “I. When considering the matter of jihadis online, remember that most of what we think we know is based on analyses of the comments made by an handful of vocal activists. The vast majority of jihadis online, be they on forums or social networking sites[i], say nothing. Skillful translations and insightful analyses by definition tell us little about this potentially lethal yet silent majority.”

Al-Qaida’s online forums go dark

SNIPPET: “WASHINGTON, April 2 (UPI) — A blackout of al-Qaida’s main Web sites is in its 11th day, and officials think the forums may have been brought down in a cyberattack.

While no one has claimed credit for disabling the sites...”

SNIPPET: “The loss of information typically confuses and frustrates the readers of the Web sites.

“It leaves the rank-and-file to guess which messages and which messengers are genuine al-Qaida, and provides undercover operators with new opportunities to disrupt the movement,” said A. Aaron Weisburd, senior fellow at the Homeland Security Policy Institute.”

“Social Networks & The Online Jihad”
World Threats.com ^ | October 26, 2011 | Posted by Candice Lanier
Posted on October 31, 2011 1:38:14 AM PDT by Cindy

SNIPPET: “In July, the British government warned that Al Qaeda’s exploitation of social networking websites is on the rise.”

SNIPPET: “The massive and multifarious network of websites and social media has presented a challenge to authorities in trying to combat it. Additionally, civil liberty concerns have conflicted with government efforts to spy on communications.

Reducing terrorist activity on social media sites has been particularly difficult because users have adopted new forms of communication to conform with the new formats. Many Arabic speakers on Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and other sites use Arabizi, a form of colloquial Arabic written in the Latin alphabet and numbers. This allows the use of a standard English-language keyboard for typing messages. There exists, however, no standard version of Arabizi. It varies from country to country, even among groups within countries and is affected by differences in dialect.”

Since some in the audience don’t understand the significance of this, allow me to spell it out: if only members can read the forum, then anyone observed reading the forum is a member. They have zero deniability (they couldn’t have accidentally “wandered into” the site), and they had to make the effort to join (an expression of intent).

While the goal here is to present a range of sites, the fact is that the jihadis themselves have largely coalesced at Shmukh and Ansar Arabic.”

There’s nothing worse than the mournful wailing of analysts, graduate students, and reporters who find themselves locked out of their favorite forum. Join early, join often, save important discussions as you find them, try not to say anything too embarrassing, and if you’re a civilian, make some effort to let your friendly neighborhood secret police know that you’re a good guy, not a bad guy, so they don’t have to waste time and money investigating you. Forums are not just websites, they are battlefields, and spectators are not particularly welcome by any of the combatants.”

SNIPPET: “The 28-year-old Lewthwaite has been missing for nearly a year but revealed in an online that she is tired of living on the run and is “breathing Jihad.”

She writes: “I’d rather be receiving my martyrdom, think I’ll get ready... and buy a vest.”

She posted the poem, entitled “Maybe Paradise Tomorrow,” using a Twitter account. In the poem she pays tribute to Aboud Rogo Mohammed, the former leader of Al-Qaeda-linked terror faction Al-Shabaab, killed last week in a Kenya drive-by shooting, and she vows to join him in “Jannah” (Islamic paradise).”

According to the Sunday Mirror, she may be hiding out with five terrorists in Central Kenya. The CIA, Kenyan police and Scotland Yard are on the hunt for the woman from Northern Ireland who may have turned to Islam at the age of 15 because of her parents’ separation.”

All wonderful and heroic phrases.

But the longer that islam possesses the constitutional protection it enjoys today, the more certain this country can be of its final destruction by it.

When, in the history of civilization, has any country been able to survive by protecting its sworn enemy?

Has basic logic completely escaped our leadership?

There is a new paradigm. I kind of explain it here.

Our weak, appeasing leaders won’t matter anymore.

How Islam—and the ever-present threat it poses to humanity—could be brought to an end in one, simple step.

Read it before.

The most significant statement in the entire article is:

“I have no expectation that any American president would order the destruction of Mecca, even if American cities had been destroyed with nuclear bombs sent from a Muslim country with a clear return address.”

The moral of the story is, don’t count on the US to straighten matters out in this world.

Let's look at what one of the Islamic World's "heroes" had to say about this subject: Ayatollah Khomeini:

Islam makes it incumbent on all adult males, provided they are not disabled or incapacitated, to prepare themselves for the conquest of [other] countries so that the writ of Islam is obeyed in every country in the world.

. . . But those who study Islamic Holy War will understand why Islam wants to conquer the whole world. . . . Those who know nothing of Islam pretend that Islam counsels against war.

Those [who say this] are witless. Islam says: Kill all the unbelievers just as they would kill you all! Does this mean that Muslims should sit back until they are devoured by [the unbelievers]? Islam says: Kill them [the non-Muslims], put them to the sword and scatter [their armies]. Does this mean sitting back until [non-Muslims] overcome us? Islam says: Kill in the service of Allah those who may want to kill you!

Does this mean that we should surrender [to the enemy]? Islam says: Whatever good there is exists thanks to the sword and in the shadow of the sword!

People cannot be made obedient except with the sword! The sword is the key to Paradise, which can be opened only for the Holy Warriors!

There are hundreds of other [Qur'anic] psalms and Hadiths [sayings of the Prophet] urging Muslims to value war and to fight.

Does all this mean that Islam is a religion that prevents men from waging war? I spit upon those foolish souls who make such a claim.

Who are you going to believe, the Hamas Terrorist-supporting CAIR or the Jihadist-supporting, Lame Stream Media or this (former) Mad Mullah, and dozens of other such statements and written words of the "Profit" in the Quran and Hadiths ?

That’s right. But the 1st Amd is not up for negotiation, even after arresting the Innocence of Muslims guy for a “parole violation.”

We’ll keep pushing the islamokazis buttons, if our leaders like it or not. Screw them. WE own the 1st Amd, not THEM.

My argument is as follows: How can we possibly allow a movement (Islam) to enjoy the protection of our 1st Amendment when that same interest group is clearly out to kill us?

Are we, as non-muslims, compelled to commit suicide or accept our murder because of our 1st Amendment? Pray tell, where is the f—king logic in it all?

Would one of you wise (and I am not being facetious) FReepers reply to this burning question that drives me to drink?

And please don’t repond with: “That’s why we have a 2nd Amendment.” because that is unacceptable.
