I didn’t see that it said ‘first floor’
it said ‘floor’...
The journal consisting of seven handwritten pages in a hard-bound book was found ON THE FLOOR of the ravaged consulate compound where Stevens was fatally wounded.——
But beneath a picture it does say ‘first floor’...
CNN is a joke, it's left wing leanings and bias has killed the network and I'm sure everyone noticed how obama went to Vegas after the attacks and the media virtually ignored it.
This man has never led on anything, 15 years ago he was a nothing, done; nothing and now leads this country thanks to the media and the stupid thick dumb idiots which watch their local channels and think they are being told the truth.
he;s stayed quiet whilst another Gneral finds the time to call a pastor in FL
Clinton never went on any networks after the attacks, Obama went to Vegas and did nothing but party with very rich people.
They stuck to a story that it was just a protest and will not do anything about this attack but keep saying sorry.
WTF IS GOING ON WITH THIS MEDIA, so long as the market is keeping their retirement up and they make money then screw the truth and the country.
Or the FBI... Agreed with your sentiment. What the heck is the Administration doing?
Anything is possible with the administration and that fat brat, Hillary Clinton.
Sort of like Fast and Furious for the Jihad set.
ow. First Stevens got sodomized by his killers, now he gets sodomized by CNN.
Big Money question.
ALL ITEMS inside the boundaries of a Federal installation are considered property of the U.S. Government.
This covers Embassies, Consulates, Mil bases, etc. Anything with a designation of U.S. Federal property.
Hell, even the ink pens are covered by this if the PIC (prick in charge) wants to get testy about it.
So much for the ‘the film done it’ UN speech Bobo was gonna give ... Maybe he can sent Stephablarg Cutter to do her bird imitations ...
Agreed on the federal property thing, but that is too minor and only dings CNN. I want to know... is the consulate considered a crime scene in an active investigation or not? If so, why has the DOJ not opened an investigation into CNN for interfering with an investigation and tampering with evidence? If not, why is the FBI involved at all, and why have the State employees been instructed not to talk with the intelligence committee? Can’t have it both ways... either it is an active investigation or it isn’t. Someone needs to be in cuffs... a few CNN folks, a few State folks, some DoJ hacks or all of the above.
Not the communist news network.
Agree, SE Mom. Our media is too invested in obama to find out what happened over there. Imagine if the video/pics had never been found. The administration would likely have been able to get away with their madeup story.
Reporters were all thru the burned out consulate showing tv audiences.
I think they got the diary from someone else, not from the consulate itself.
CNN says they notified the State Dept & the family. (for what that’s worth)
“’a source familiar with Ambassador Stevens’ thinking “
I’ll have to remember that one.
I happened to be flipping thru channels and came across this report on CNN Friday. It was very interesting - the details of how things went down the night of the attack. (or at least as CNN reported it)
At the end, when Cooper made the statement about CNN using the diary, I was stunned. I remember thinking that the family was not going to be happy & CNN could probably expect a lawsuit.
...He spent most of his career in the Middle East and North Africa, including postings to Israel, Egypt, Syria and Saudi Arabia, in addition to serving as the deputy chief of the U.S. mission to Libya from 2007 to 2009, during the rule of Moammar Gadhafi, according to the State Department.
In May, one year after arriving aboard a cargo ship to work with those involved in the upstart rebellion, Stevens was appointed U.S. ambassador to Libya.
Sounds like he helped arm the rebels (Al-Qaeda) . Probably had enemies on both sides. Maybe the bigger question is what was his purpose of being there with very little security on 9/11.
