Op-Ed: A Strategy for Making Peace with the Palestinian Arabs

Israel will not attain peace with the PA Arabs until that community gives up its goal of destroying Israel. They will abandon this goal only when they are convinced that there is no way they can succeed. The most important ways to work towards peace are: resettling the Palestinian “refugees” outside of Israel; encouraging reform in the Palestinian education system and speaking the truth regarding the Jews’ ancient roots in the land; reducing the ability of PA leaders to personally benefit from the conflict; and encouraging free debate in PA society.

What Can Be Done for the Sake of Peace?

Though it does not look like peace can be achieved today, a solution with the Palestinians must still be Israel’s long-term goal. Israel must be prepared to work to change the obstacles that stand in the way of making peace.

We should stop funding UNWRA. Once the Gulf Arabs and or the Iranians have to start picking up the tab, this thing will get solved pretty quickly.

Has any non-Muslim society ever been able to make peace with Muslims? Muslims see peace making efforts by others as submission to them (Muslims).

And all along I thought the key to peace in the middle east was to depopulate the Arab lands. That is the only solution that will last, sorry.

(2) combating the radical Islamist ideology that has pervaded the Palestinian education system;
(3) reducing monetary aid to Palestinian leaders who remain opposed to peace;and
(4) increasing freedoms among the Palestinian people to enable them to freely debate the issue.

Well, I guess I'm on board, though I'd note that 2 requires killing the terrorists, else 4 will be impossible. Start now, maybe next century, I fear no one alive today will live to see it.

I’ve got a simple strategy:
Kill every single leader in the PA (Hamas, PLO, whatever the hell else is left after that), kill every imam and teacher, destroy every mosque, TV, and radio station there; let Jews teach the kids something besides how to use a suicide vest like history, science, math, civics, and basic hygiene.
