Gay Boy Scouts or Fake Duke LaCrosse Rapes: I Choose Conservative Christian Akins over Romney
Self | 24 Aug 12 | Xzins

Posted on 08/21/2012 7:08:56 PM PDT by xzins

Oh how soon we forget!

Sean Hannity was in the lead on the story throughout. False accusations of rape against Duke Lacrosse players made headline news. Then we learned she was pregnant. Now disbarred District Attorney Michael Nifong withheld crucial DNA evidence that proved not one of the accused had been with the accuser sexually. Subsequent DNA tests demonstrated that there would be no paternity liability on the part of any of them. She was not impregnated during her fake rape. Apparently, that happened later at her discretion.

In short, it was not a LEGITIMATE rape. In fact, it was so illegitimate that the DA lost his reputation, his office, his license, and his career.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Mitt Romney has gone on record continuing his support of a gay boy scout organization. This, of course -- continuing our sports theme -- is a triple double. Romney needed something to fit snugly between his past and present support for a gay military and gay adoption by gay couples.

Firestorm?

Nah, Romney’s homosexualism was just “fine and dandy AOK.” After all it wasn't in defense of innocent life as was Representative Todd Akins' comment that there's a difference between fake rape and legitimate rape. (See Lacrosse example above.) Also, Akins had the temerity to suggest that a receptive female partner in a willing relationship is more likely to become pregnant than is a violently assaulted woman. There is a certain hopeful logic to that whether or not one knows that violent rape does result in pregnancy.

More to the point is Akins' intent. If there were mistakes made in a rush of words, were they mistakes of the head or mistakes of the heart?

This consistently life-affirming, conservative Christian legislator has huge conservative ratings with the American Conservative Union. A graduate of Covenant Theological Seminary in St Louis, a school renowned as a bastion of traditional, bible-believing Christianity, Representative Akins earned a Master of Divinity. It is rare for one to pursue a Master of Divinity without some sense of divine calling. After all, it is the preparatory degree for ordained ministry. Also, it is among the lengthiest of masters degrees, requiring over 90 semester hours for completion when most others are in the 35-40 hour range. Finally, Akins was only addressing the subject because he was trying to make a pro-life point about saving the life of a baby resulting from rape.

Of course, this is circumstantial evidence about the intent of Representative Akins' heart. In any case, he was advocating immoral behavior as is Mitt Romney’s homosexualism.

So, if I was given the chance to replace one and keep the other....I'd be showing Boy Scout Mitt the door.

No Akin said that in a legitimate rape, a woman will be able to fight off the pregnancy.

We can’t have a man writing legislation that doesn’t understand that when a woman is ovulating she can become pregnant consensual or not.

I’m pro-life, even in cases of rape. However, this idiot’s mindset give cover to the rapist.

After all... if the woman is pregnant, she must have wanted it/sarcasm.

Something is wrong though. It is too much of a recurring theme in his life and career.

I have posited the theory that Romney at some point in his Mormon ministry was one of the Temple Workers who hand washed the private parts of young men in the Temple Ritual before giving these young men their magic underwear.

I've been looking for some confirmation on that. Romney wears his magic underwear everywhere he goes. Most "normal" Mormons don't. Most "normal" Mormons couldn't get a temple recommend if their life depended on it.

If a woman is on the verge of ovulation, the stress of a violent encounter like rape could easily halt it.

This is not an unknown thing.

After I’m done I will probably be moving on the Bonhoeffer’s book “The Cost of Discipleship”.

His life is fascinating. Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy.

What happens if she’s already ovulating?

Prophet? How so?

You have to read the book to see.

I am convinced he was a Jeremiah to the German people and the German Church. I am also convinced that God called him to be a prophet and a martyr.

Read the book and let me know if you agree.

I lived in MA, where he ran to the left of Ted Kennedy. Romney is Obamalini with a brain. Sodomite friendly, socialized medicine friendly, closeted pro-choicer, comfortable with AA, a spender and a taxer, what’s not to like? The only delusion here is seeing Mittens as a genuine conservative or as someone who will “save the Republic”. (I laugh at the very thought)

As a private citizen, Romney is a decent man, but he should never be able to influence public policy. My prediction is that he will win, and then he will take the fall for the disaster that is already baked into the financial markets.

You have me intrigued now. I certainly will, although it may be while to get back to you. If neither of us have been purged.

This man is just too stupid to be involved in the legislative process.

Akins was basically quoting a medical doctor who had developed the theory. That Doctor is a long time, big time Romney surrogate.

Maybe Romney should be replaced. Maybe the GOP should ask Romney to step down because he has associated with the doctor who developed this theory.

“You know, the only other person that uses the word “homosexualist” or a form of it, such as homosexualism is the founder of this site. You are either JR himself or you are one of his sycophants carrying out his dirty deeds. Let us know who you are and quit playing games.”

You are accusing JR of “dirty deeds”? Let’s give JR a chance to answer your charges. You must be nuts.

Just because there’s ovulation and intercourse doesn’t necessarily mean there will be fertilization and implantation. There are other factors such as at this link:

“He’s the first Mormon I’ve ever heard of who supports Gay Boy Scouts....and the only. Are you using sarcasm or were you being serious?”

It’s the truth, I saw him say it on Utube.

Romney has his faults, but to say that he is the same as Obama is simply not true. Romney believes in the free market and is not a statist like Obama. Please distinguish between the lesser and the greater danger. Romney picked Ryan and will at least on occasion, will do something conservative. Obama will never so do. Same goes for Scottie Brown in the race against Fauxcahontas...

Hope you don’t have a problem that this site is 100% opposed to godless abortionism, homosexualism, RINOism, liberalism, statism, Marxism, fascism, anarchism, globull warming balonyism, etc.!! And FYI, the “sycophants” you speak of are all like-minded grassroost life & liberty conservatives that I’m trying to attract to this website. If you’re not one, why are you here?

Whatever they do in Missouri is up to them but I think making a national issue out of it is a loser. This evening my neighbor was complaining about it becoming a national issue when we have our own races to worry about.

Kudos to the GOP-e and the shills in the "conservative" media for helping to nationalize the issue and keeping it in the headlines even longer. Morons, every last one of them.
