20 years after Ruby Ridge, there's forgiveness

KALISPELL, Mont. (AP) — When Sara Weaver saw her father Randy struck in the shoulder by a government sniper's bullet in the Idaho wilderness in August 1992, she began to sprint back to the family's cabin on a mountaintop called Ruby Ridge.

As the 16-year-old closed in, her mother, Vicki, opened the cabin door and stood behind it, holding Sara Weaver's 10-month-old sister in her arms. Just then, a sniper's bullet struck her mother in the head, killing her.

I so wanted to see that whole interview. I saw a small promo clip, and by all accounts Shatner did a great job with it.

“Aside from the endorsement he did a few years ago (knife company?) has hide or hair of Horiuchi been seen since Idaho attempted to put him on trial for murder?”

I bet that was pretty costly advertising for the knife company. No, Lon Tomohisa Horiuchi keeps a very low profile indeed, and internet articles about him seem to get scrubbed or amended with some fair regularity.

>> “Wasn’t the OKC bombing more closely tied to the Waco abomination ... second anniversary thereof?” <<

.
That was the nonsense that the MSM were pushing for Klinton.

Probably meant Reconstruction

But accurate details are a bother to progressives

It was called Aftermath, with William Shatner. It appears to be available at Amazon.

Absolutely concur. There may be forgiveness from others; there will be none from me.

Unless Lon Horiuchi has asked her forgiveness there’s absolutely nothing Christian about her forgiving him. Nothing.

The van had nothing to do with bringing the building down.

McVey was a nut case, and nothing he said would be worthy of consideration.

The debunkers are very much part of “cooling the mark.” (the “Mark” being the American public)

The goings-on in the basement of the Murrah building have been revealed in some detail by BATF operatives that were later discarded. The statements that were made by local officials on that morning BEFORE the blast were the most revealing.

Sara & I are neighbors. I have stood right there where that photo was taken. My father-in-law was part of the protest at the gate below the standoff. I’m impressed with her ability to forgive & use her example as I consider the ROE, Lon, Reno, & others who have helped take the war to the citizens.

Sounds like you and Horriuchi are tight buds.

Yeah, that was a mess. Never come to the attention of the government, if you can at all arrange it. :^/

To say you forgive the murderer of your neighbor is ludicrous. You can turn your own other cheek if you choose. There’s no command or even virtue in turning your neighbor’s.

Well, I just thought it was interesting that he was either deliberately misleading or he didn't know how the barrels were arranged in the van. And what would be the reason for the government blowing up the building, besides blaming it on us? Not to mention the possible link of Terry Nichols to 9/11 types.

Anyway, I'm not familiar with what was said before the blast. What did you read or hear and is it posted somewhere?

I served my country in time of war. Name the time and place.
I will be there.

“FWIW from Wiki, the assassin was Lon Horiuchi, 1976 West Point Grad.”

We learned nothing from My Lai,despite claims that he was following orders from his commanding officer, Captain Medina, Calley was convicted on March 29, 1971, of premeditated murder. If I remember correctly a Federal Judge said that charges should be brought in this case.

Horiuchi is a murderer. Following orders just doesn’t fly.

One might forego personal vengeance but that doesn’t mean asking that the normal earthly means of accountability get short circuited. May Jesus pardon Lon’s soul but I’m not so generous minded in prayer about his hide.

Too bad your bravado can’t erase the facts of the Murrah building, and especially the complicity of the elected officials that we so foolishly trust.

The POV you spouted goes hand in hand with trash like Lon Horriuchi and Wesley Clark, whether you realize it or not.
