Just how inept is the White House these days? On Friday, President Obama was demanding that Congress put "teachers, cops and firefighters" back to work. But his own website says he's already accomplished that.

BO is just reading what’s on the teleprompters written by the puppet masters.
Lot of folks seem to think he’s very smart but I see and idiot on a pedestal controlled by others.
When normal people lie, and everybody has, it defines a behavioral anomaly that needs to be addressed. Obama’s entire persona down to the core is defined by lies. Any truth’s he’s uttered wouldn’t fit on a page double-spaced in a big font.
Obama has a problem here. This doesn't sound like much of an 'investment' if the money runs out and Obama comes back for more again and again to save the same jobs over and over.

Good info.
What I take from it is that saving the same government jobs over and over and over shows that big government is a bottomless pit, into which our tax and borrowed money endlessly pours.
And that view doesn’t even touch all the waste and fraud involved.
There are teachers, for instance, who are not in the classroom because of an investigation or at least a complaint against them, who go to their school and sit in a room there all day while drawing their full pay, for years.
There are teachers who are barely above illiterate, who are in the classroom.
Teachers who indoctrinate and propagandize young children to become Obama and big government worshippers.
Obama wants our money to continually save all of these.
It makes me very angry.
Romney is doing a typical crappy job of engaging in this argument with Obama first claiming we want less teachers, etc, then saying that the Federal Government doesn't hire those local employees anyway. I wonder if he believes anything he says anymore than Obama does.
A better argument would be to point out that the Federal government handing out printed cash to local governments for such uses is bad policy because it's the local government that makes the decisions on how to spend it : WI is a great example : Spend it on benefits or actual services? Local government decides.
I guess the Republicans idea of block grant money is not fool proof.
” Obama has a problem here. This doesn’t sound like much of an ‘investment’ if the money runs out and Obama comes back for more again and again to save the same jobs over and over. “
Just a typical con man.
Obama is so busy grasping at straws that he can’t even remember the lie he told yesterday. He has become incapable of telling the truth even on the most insignificant issues.
I tell these guys until I'm blue in the face that I like having firefighters and police around just like everyone else, but if a local government can't afford to pay for all of them, then something has to give.
The big municipality in this area has gone through white flight for years, but police officers haven't kept pace with the declining numbers of population, and tax revenues sure aren't expanding, in fact, the tax base is contracting rapidly ....so at some point that means less services that they can afford, and teachers, police and firefighters aren't immune, and they can't be immune, if the local jurisdiction is going to survive.
Personally, I wouldn't live in that municipality if my life depended on it, and it probably would, so I say let the last taxpayer turn out the lights on their way out...but I want my current area to survive, so there has to be changes, and they can't be based on an the public's emotional response about police, firefighters and teachers.
Obama ??? LOL
Dems poll tested terms such as ‘investment’ and ‘handouts’ and found that the first one results in way more positive responses.
The term ‘stimulus’ is even better because it represents any real spending of government money on anything. One lib says even pure spending waste is stimulative and will work, for example those $6,600 Kindles. Others say that the most economic stimulation comes from welfare checks to losers because the most important cogs are moochers.
Thanks sickoflibs.
