Romney has a July Surprise coming for him, but in the meantime to keep the Democrat Media Complex from kneepadding him, all his opposing candidates have to keep quiet.

Looks like an endorsement would wind up with 2 possible scenarios:

1) mittens wins, Rick winds up well-liked by the gop-e and given the nod for some future election. The gamble, however, would be on the magnitude of the downside in this scenario, that is, losing his cred amongst staunch conservatives. what percentage of them would support him in a future primary after he endorsed mittens - 20% ? 80% ? The only way he’d have a real future shot at the Presidential nomination was if he was given the vp slot; he could be the presumptive nominee for president in 2020 if mittens wins and he’s the vp. This might convince staunch conservs to vote for the ticket now, knowing that they should get more conservatism after Romney. However, if mittens time as President were a resounding failure - Rick would be toast for the future for anything, he’d just be an ex-vp of a failed Presidency.

2) mittens loses the election after Rick endorses him. Rick then loses a big healthy does of his conservative cred.

There has got to be some big fat political pressure put on every GOPer to sign on to mitsey.

Can’t they just say they oppose nobama and leave it go at that ? ( wishful dreaming :)...

OMG, which way will he go, which way will he go???

Will he take one for the team and save the country, maybe even the entire world?

The suspense is killing me.
