There’s outrage in Norfolk, Va., today after a white couple was attacked by dozens of black teenagers, and the local newspaper did not report on the incident for two weeks, despite the victims being reporters for the paper.
Even today, the Virginian-Pilot did not cover the crime as news, but rather as an opinion piece by columnist Michelle Washington.

If the old adage “A conservative is a liberal who’s been mugged” is true, then we can welcome two new stalwart conservatives to our side. It would be interesting to follow up on this couple a year from now and see if they’ve had their Damascus Road Conversion — or are they still apologists for the evils of our society causing the mob to behave the way it does.

There was an article a while back about a liberal woman going to Haiti and getting raped. She was apologizing to and for her attacker, during the rape and after.

Now back in the olden days of 70 years ago, if this happened a part of the city would burn down, and trees (comment removed before the mods ban me), but then it would be safe to walk the streets again for many years.
