After Willard Romney the open socialist finishes alienating the entire voting base with his avalanche of attack ads, maybe he can get to the REAL job...losing to Barack Obama.
It will be interesting to see how many of us who pledge unshakable opposition to Romney will end up voting for him after he “wins” the nomination.

This is the GOP-e game, and they have done it for every four years now, the last true Conservative Republican being Ronald Reagan and even that represented a bottom-up, grassroots rebellion against both GOP-e and the MSM arrayed against him. Next it will be amplified by "conservative" talk show hosts already in the tank to urge the lemmings to go over the cliff for Bishop Romney as a "fait d'accompli" which they engineered from the start and knocked out conservative after conservative threat in this race. Bachman. Cain (joined the media circus and did not come to his defense). Perry. Next will be Gingrigh and Santorum for sure. This is who I hold responsible, the GOP Establishment and their water carriers.
I am insulting Newt because I am sick and tired of the nasty stuff toward Santorum. It is worse than how people around here talk about Obama. It truly is. Why is that?

I heard on the radio that Turnout was very low. Chalk that up to a lot of people who are not going to vote For Robama or any of the GOP choices that we have been given for that matter. It was all part of the plan.

I like Newt, but it's clear that he can't attract votes in places other than the Deep South -- and not enough, even there. And, sorry -- Santorum makes my skin crawl; a lot of Republican primary voters apparently agree, and I don't want to imagine how many states he'd carry in a general election against Obama.
And now, Romney wins Illinois in a massive rout. Mitt wasn't my favorite; he wasn't in my top ten. But he'll be the Republican nominee. So, now what? Do you vote for a third-party candidate? Abstain from voting for President? Or do you vote for the only person who can remove Obama from the Oval Office?
I will not vote for Romney if he is the nominee. Just like Obama, he is a handbasket driver. Different model; different speed; but a handbasket driver all the same.
Already we have people standing hip deep in the cesspool at the bottom of the slippery slope saying, “This really doesn’t smell so bad.”
I may be drug in against my will, but I will never willingly jump in that cesspool.

There are two ways to win idiots’ votes.
One is to produce a well-funded and relentlessly negative campaign, spreading lies about your opponents and fanning all sorts of imaginary fears about them.
The other is to pretend to represent some sort of morally superior ideal, and to play identity politics until neither your record nor your policy positions actually matter.
Romney has generally taken the first route, and Santorum the second, though you can bet that behind the scenes Santorum is actively encouraging the “Newt is a baaaaaaaad man” narrative.
The primary reason Newt lost is because people are idiots. Some are conservative idiots, and some are liberal idiots, but 75% of voters in this country will listen to whichever side has the most ads, whatever the facts. They will tolerate lies, posturing, misrepresentation, and cliches— but they are deathly allergic to ideas. Newt refused to let his values and policy positions be reduced to sound bites, even sound bites like “I have cute kids; vote for me.” That may have been a tactical error given the current political climate, but it demonstrates that he was the strongest candidate in the race.
You and your fellow Santorum fans may feel a smug sense of moral satisfaction for “voting your conscience” this season. But all you’ve done is guarantee Obama a second term.
I keep hearing how Romney won’t perform well in the southern states. Does anyone really believe that Obama will win the South over Romney?

I voted for the most conservative and stand by that vote. I think a lot of folks who were going around blabbing how they were going to vote for Rick changed their minds in the voting booth.
I am not going to accuse people of being really Mitt supporters hiding behind other candidates but when it comes down to Mitt and the worst POTUS in history, a man I met in 2005 one on one and I believe he is the most evil person I have ever met in person. He would stab you in the neck and smile to your face. That is Barack Obama, he is pure evil to the core.
I saw his rise here as Senator, then his rise to con America.
But like I said, I am not ashamed to have supported Rick Santorum, I voted for him, and I would vote for him again. This is just a hell hole state filled with crooks in both parties.

If Romney wins, I may actually enjoy seeing the MSM tear him to shreds. I hate him that much. He’s on video stating that he’s a progressive. He’s on record in a 2009 op-ed urging Barack Obama to adopt the individual mandate on a national level. He signed socialized medicine and Cap & Trade into law. What’s to like?

I wonder at times...I’m one that has voted since Nixon...every election I was dedicated to the “right”. But the idea that Romney is being forced down my throat is upsetting...the tea party needs another kick in the butt so maybe another round of our current partying president would send a message to the republican “atta boy club”...yes I’m fed up with this mess and it looks like I might do something radical this election...voting against the republican party...wow, never thought I would say that but something radical needs to happen....

I called the Santorum a week ago and told them going to Puerto Rico and not going to the suburbs of Chicago would cost him the state. I was right. Mittens would have won Puerto Rico because he is as good as pandering to Hispanics as Obama is at pandering to Muslim dictators!!!
At least I can go to sleep tonight that I voted what I truly believed. Did we lose? Looks like it, but I'm still proud I voted for the real conservative in the race and not a RINO who gave us Obamacare on a silver platter!!!
