Fox News 'course correction' rankles some
PoliticObama ^ | February 14th | KEACH HAGEY

As a white, male, middle-aged conservative talk radio host from Virginia, John Fredericks is something close to the Platonic ideal of a Fox News fan.

And until last year, he was one. But then Fox’s treatment of the Republican primary race — the presentation of Karl Rove as a political analyst despite his having “thrown in for Romney” and Sean Hannity’s clear ties to the Republican establishment — began to grate on him. So he changed the channel.

Fox news = mouthpiece of the establishment.

Which is still better than the liberal media. But we can only keep them at an arms length, at best.

Young leftist/neo-Marxist call it FAUX NEWS.
Whatever you think, the Marxist are corrupting every element of American culture.
No doubt, FOX will fall into line and welcome in the brave old world of Marxism.

Maybe Murdoch’s goal was to suck in the conservative Americans, lull them into submission, then turn to the left.

Without the old FOX, what will be left...I mean right.

Fox News’ support of Romney, under the guise of conservatism is more insidious than the blatant liberalism of MSNBC and the other liberal outlets.

Many had come to accept Fox as a conservative source or at least a fair source of news and therefore trust them. It’s devious and flat out wrong of them.

I stopped watching Fox news quite a while ago - it just didn’t sit well with me anymore - not that I watched much TV news ever anyway. Now this explains that my instincts were correct that something was going wrong over there.

Thanks for the article.

Fox News is like my grandson putting HIS hand over HIS eyes and saying “You can't see me.”
We see what Fox News has become and we are not fooled. Constantly putting that quisling Tokyo Rove on and having BORe on later just makes the point.
I've watched about 2 1/2 hours of Fox in the last two years - don't need them, don't want them.

Haven’t watch FOX news for about a year now. It is absolutely correct to label them the GOP establishment shills. Not anything they should be proud of and certainly not fair and balanced.

I, also, no longer watch FOX. I get all the news and commentary I need right here on Free Republic. It’s unfair and unbalanced and that’s exactly what I want and the way I like it...

I didn’t bother to change the channel , there isn’t anything better out ther, so I justturned it off.

Listening to Bob Beckle and that idiot Juan Williams is enough to gag a maggot.

It’s been awfully quiet at my house as I used to keep FOX on 24/7. Now I don’t watch any news on TV. Saves on the the electric bill and lowers my blood pressure.

Win win.

I stopped watching when the turned into the missing pretty white girl channel. I realize that you have to fill 18 hours(with all of their replays), but it was unwatchable.

Has FOX News 'Jumped The Shark' Over Mitt???

FOX News may have 'jumped the shark' over mittens

Fair and balanced is Juan McCain

I for one have had enough of the ‘wisdom’ of Bill Kristal, Chas. Krauthammer, Ted Baxter, Bret Beahr, Toyko Rove, Ann Colter, Chris Wallace, Sean Wannabe, Dana Parino, Brit Hume, Shep Smith, Judge Jeanene, Alan Comes, Bob Beckle, Juan Williams, Whoraldo, et. al. all acting the part of the Romney cheerleading squad

Does anyone else 'feel my pain'?

.

Name ONE true conservative who is regularly on FOX

There is clearly a hunger and a market for honest news and honest conservative news - and it is clearly not FOX

with apologies to Ted Knight ….Find O'Reilly:

.

I'm beginning to think that Fox may be succumbing to threats form the 0bama regime and kowtowing.

As a white, male, middle-aged conservative talk radio host from Virginia, John Fredericks is something close to the Platonic ideal of a Fox News fan...... “I’ve gone from all Fox to no Fox, and replaced it with CNN, which I think right now is giving me a much fairer analysis of what’s going on,” he said.

This statement shows that the entire article is a fraud. No real conservative would claim that CNN is a better cable news alternative to FNC.

CNN is to cable news as Huffington Post is to the blogosphere. MSNBC is cable's equivalent to Daily Kos. Why would any conservative waste their time with either (except for oppo research)?

This so called shift in focus just happened to occur soon after a huge purchase of NewsCorp stock by the Saudies. Go figure.
