The media has made fun of her because she's not Ivy League. They think it's embarassing that she talks just like anybody you'd meet in the street. She has a regional accent. She's not "nuanced" the way they want her to be. She's blunt. And she takes this country seriously.

The media finds her laughable for all of these reasons, and the American people find her to be refreshing and wonderful for these same reasons.

Wht’s funny is how Jeb Bush is being mentioned as the savior of a brokered convention, but never Palin. Whole articles mention lists of future contenders but her name will not come up. Tres bizarre.
