She has the ability to speak about issues that profoundly bother the audience in common ways and words that listeners instantly recognize and wish they had thought to say just that way. Watch in the video below of her full CPAC speech for how this church-going mother of five mocks Obama's Winning the Future program with an almost off-color aside. And prompts shared laughter, not shock.

Instead, instinctively Palin doesn't speak at or to audiences. She speaks for them. She tells them what they've already accomplished through the tea party, for instance, and what they can accomplish this year and beyond if united. It's empowering and invigorating, no longer burdened by the attacks of enemies, she need play no defense. The audience hears that she knows them and eagerly becomes hers. To criticize Sarah is to criticize them.
P.S. After his CPAC speech, Santorum and clan walked off the stage. After theirs, Romney and Gingrich stepped down to shake hands with front-row members for a few minutes. Good moves.
After hers, Palin got a standing ovation. She waved for two minutes then plunged into the audience. Moving slowly like a mini-mob from one side of the vast ballroom to the other to accommodate the waves of well-wishers with hands outstretched and cellphones poised. Some sections spontaneously sang 'Happy Birthday' for her. And she was thrilled every time.

Sarah knows what's going on, for sure.
She’s brighter than the Obamaloon.
Way brighter.
She managed to actually learn things in college, while the loon managed to refine his drug taking techniques, mine the minority quota system, and generally prove that he’s a vapid dork.
Because she is real. She represents what America was meant.
Man, I hope for a brokered convention and put her on the ticket. We are so screwed. My guy Newt looks like he is flaming away. Sweater’s is not a motivator. He will be crushed by Obama. Mitten’s, well, enough said.
Because she is a conservative American citizen, rather than some country club lawyer or career political hack.
She speaks the plain truth, and she speaks it for America.
This could not be easier:
SHE BELIEVES WHAT SHE SAYS!
Because every time some elitist snob rips her for having a hokey accent we smile and start listening even more closely.
The media finds her laughable for all of these reasons, and the American people find her to be refreshing and wonderful for these same reasons.
Plainly and simply, I love that Lady.
"I will not buy this socialized medicine, it is scratched."
Wht’s funny is how Jeb Bush is being mentioned as the savior of a brokered convention, but never Palin. Whole articles mention lists of future contenders but her name will not come up. Tres bizarre.
SHE BELIEVES WHAT SHE SAYS!
She would do what she says and that scares many folks on both sides of the aisle. After watching her interact with folks for almost 2 hours after her Iowa speech I knew she would be a force to be reckoned with. LIfe is not all about her, she is here to serve the folks and whatever capacity she can. I do not ever see her being President because I do not think she will get in the way of a Marco Rubio run. No one connects more to a crowd both on and off the stage than this gifted woman.
Tres architected. CPAC’s failure to have listed her—even as Veep—is just as bizarre as anything going on in the MSM. And Fox must feel that because it’s given her a platform (yeah, they’re real generous!) it needn’t oblige viewers to consider her a viable candidate.
Unless Congress changes the requirements for president, Rubio’s got no shot. I like the kid, but he’s no Palin.
Why do we keep mentioning Marco Rubio when he doesn’t meet the natural born citizen requirements that we demand from Obama?
It wasn’t a whisper, I heard it clearly. There are no idiots here. Palin knows what she stands for, and Obama knows what he stands for. Leftists aren’t idiots, they are thugs, pure and simple. They are willing to take free people and squash their God-given rights for their own good. Of course, as many have pointed out before, they come out of the democratic process, therefore they can’t claim a mantle of superiority, unless the people themselves are smart. But if that’s the case, why do the people smart enough to elect a leader smart enough to direct their lives successfully need that person at all? Obama proves that people can elect inferior leaders, and therefore the harm can only be mitigated by not allowing them the authority to bring sweeping misguided change that far outweighs any possible harm an individual could accomplish left to his or her own devices.
Good policy begats bad policy.
The only thing wrong with Democracy is that it never gives us a choice.
Voting is dangerous.
I could go on and on, but I’m sure you understand.
Let this notion filter up as a masterstroke of stagecraft that needs to be done. Sarah P. should carefully step from behind her next podium and softly lay each teleprompter mirror to the floor. She never uses them, doesn’t need them, so she should make it crystal clear that Obama cannot do what he does without them.
My hovercraft is full of eels.
She calls it as she sees it and I call that speaking TRUTH. Yeah, a Christian church-going mom speaks truth and not bothered with those who would put an alinksy on their speech - that tactic is from the pit.
And it will be a real hoot to watch the faces of the GOP-E when Sarah Palin addresses the Republican Convention.
The Republican Convention might nominate her by acclimation.
